Man, Ekko and Jayce has tragic lives. Before Season 2, they were struggling for their society they built and their society was awesome to them. Then, season 2 arrives, Jayce is sent to literally hell that is future. Ekko got send to a parallel universe where everything was better. He literally tasted the best of the best. At first, I was thinking how unlucky was Jayce. Then, I realized Ekko saw something beautiful that he could never achieve. What a nightmare that is? And he didn't even hesitate to leave there. I don't know if you read/watched Naruto but one of the main theme is having a bad life(no family and friends) vs losing a good life(losing every family member you have). What Jayce and Ekko experience was similar in Season 2. One of them was having the worst possible experience and other one was having the best one but to lose it regardless. And I really don't know which is worse. Two heroes winning wars but at what cost? They saved everyone but themselves. I love and hate the writers for it. It is a great tragedy that is written well. I liked the characters so much that I hated what happened to them. I know most of you will find things that you do not agree in this long a** comment. It is quite normal. Everyone can have different opinions after all. What I am asking you is to reply kindly.

This was literally all I could think about when watching Jayce's saga this season. Like you brought this upon yourself, mf - should have been there for your partner when he needed you! You don't get to be the one who forgives him
@annsh.6487 he literally went to viktor’s bedside the moment he found out, did you just forget that? He left Mel to be with viktor. Not to mention, even if he wasn’t banging her at the time, nothing would’ve changed. He was standing outside thinking about the hexgates before she showed up. He was already in a different area than Viktor and would have had no idea what was happening to him. By your logic, him doing anything except being next to Viktor at that exact moment is a sin. Literally nothing would’ve changed even if he wasn’t banging her.
Ekko’s experience seemed sad to me as well though, since he’s seeing what his life could have been like but wasn’t.
