Dear Ilva,
I wrote to a relative of mine who is often quite critical of young violinists. He measures them according to high standards. The gentleman in question was educated at Juilliard (violin) and then became a professional in an academic field, maintaining his interest in music. This was his comment about your performance of the Wieniawski Polonaise brillante in A Major Nr.2, Op.21:
"She plays with finesse, elegance, and a secure technique. I liked her playing."
Coming from this person, that's high praise! Ilva, I agree with him, times ten!

Very fine! Most people have not heard my father's rendition of this great polonaise. Oscar Shumsky was my Dad and he played both polonaises so magnificently. On TH-cam and please have a listen. Again bravo for bringing beauty to the great work Eric Shumsky
