Wow, very interesting design they've done on these. Especially compared to the standard Defender tire. Don't think i've ever seen a tire with those pass through channels for water like that.. i'd be curious to see how they look half worn. 70k treadwear rating is nuts. Michelin does make some good on road tires
very cool tire design, My only concern would be if those channels get ice and mud in them and get plugged up. Obviously you don't seem to have an issue with Mud so far.
@ericfhernandez 4WD, im not knocking them. They're awesome tires. They just suck on flat wet grass. It's pretty much a hwy tire, great on wet roads, and so far from my limited experience, nothing else unfortunately
@@JDHarpr @JDHarpr worked well.. around battle mountain area. Went on a small off-road trail full or snow. Fresh snow no tire tracts. I kept it off 4wd and held traction pretty well... once it got a bit deeper I had to turn on 4wd. Didn't get stuck at all.. pretty impressed.

Thanks for your take on the Michelins. A future pick for my Superduty F-250.
I hope they will make it in 275/55/r20 soon
Great review, thanks my next tires for smooth sailing in my dually welding rig

These tires are not off road tires though, i got stuck on flat ground on wet grass
Good review. I’d like to see progressive updates from you on these tires. The 70k warranty is stout. Curious how they do in the snow.
Yes, love to hear comments on snow performance.
so is the price. Stout, I mean.
Thank you, just bought 4 for my 2500
How are they working out for you? I have a 2024 Chevy 2500. I’m looking to replace the factory Goodyears.
@@Dad-979 they are holding up great. I highly recommend them.
@@RatelLaw awesome, thank you!
Is there anyway you can tell us the treadwear number?
Wow! Do they have 19!
Its called sipes
Which nitto grappler?
All Nitto grappler are trash
@Dad-979 I've owned the Trail Grapplers and they were great. I really like the Dura Grapplers. I just wish they made them in 35's and 37's.
@@gutierrezc8709 I had the G2 on a 2014 Chevy 1500 and got 30k miles. I wasn’t impressed but I do like the way they look.
How good are they in mud?
I am not sure about going off road with them. However with a 4 wheel drive I have been fine going down nasty dirt roads after it has rained.
@FTHSERVICES I picked one up and man they are heavy
They suck in mud, i just bought a set and got stuck on wet grass in a flat yard

How are they in snow?
I'll be testing in soon in the snow
