Thanks for the review, Chris. I've been a fan of the Panasonic Lumix series for many years. Feature packed, simple to use, great value, and they just plain work well!
Thank you for the review! Do you know of any alternatives to the DMV-VF1 external optical viewfinder? They currently go for around $160-$200! Just wondering if there are any other options. Thank you!
Well, your Lumix is now the DMC-LX5 .. and the Leica is the D-LUX 5 in comparison. The LX5 = $500~ and the LUX5 = $800~. I think NOW its more comparable. They are practically the same camera, execpt you pay for a logo and a few extra features like dual dials. BUT the Pana is very nice for the price, and sure is small.
Wow 13 years ago video!!! Nice one

I haven't kept up with it, but thank you for asking.
Hello Chris, can you tell me where you purchased the lens cap from, for this camera. Thanks.

LUMIX DMC-ZS7 or LUMIX DMC LX3???? pls help...
can you plugg in a microphone and if yes can you link an adapter to an trs and a trrs mic? please
Can't recall. That video is now 7 years old. :) I've had about 5 cameras since then.
so you recorded the vids on the internal mic?
and by the way it's almost 8 and a half years old
Correct. But I don't think that camera even exists anymore. Check out cbrogan.me/g7x . That's what I'm using now. No external mic.
Time isn't my strong suit. :) And yes. On the internal mic.
