I accidentally made a fictional video game oc my sona. Hence the character on my pfp. I just can't imagine replacing her with something else, even though she was never supposed to be my sona.

I love watching stuff like this even tho I haven’t posted anything online in like 3+ years lol. I probably won’t ever be creating a brand for myself but it’s still cool to know if I ever decide to and interesting to see the other perspective of things. For now I’m happy just drawing for me as a hobby :)

my sona is a very old oc of mine that was a self insert meaning a Mary sue but I kept her since I still like her design as it shows my personality, I did do some changes to not make her a Mary sue but kept her design.

Probably! It can work for basically any type of account if you do it in the so called "right" way
I wouldn’t see why not, you can still make entertaining or educational content in one way or another regardless of what the subject of your drawing is. Even if it’s like ‘how to draw in the sonic art style’ or ‘how to create a unique sonic oc/persona’ etc (which also ties in with having your own unique and recognisable persona; if you use a persona you made for the sonic universe that’s distinct enough it will surely help you be memorable!). And she does say being a part of a fandom also works, just gotta get your work to be noticed and known/tied to you

I would NEVER recommend someone without 30+ years of art skill to only create "educational content" because the majority of online artist have no idea what they're talking about. half of people who do that anyways cant even draw a box in perspective no thanks dude

This is a close minded perspective on educational content. Beginner artists can also offer educational content, granted, at a smaller scale. For example, they can share how they discovered a shortcut that helped them, draw eyes in their artstyle, or use a specific tool in an art program. No art tutorial is objectively correct and it is harmful to completely discredit and look down upon less experienced artists as having nothing to offer/offering substandard material to the overall art discussion. Not all educational content is formulated as an art school type pedagogy on form, light, line, etc. Please respect artists of all levels!
^ exactly, and in fact sometimes advice from someone who isn’t years and years ahead in experience is actually more helpful because they closely understand the struggles people are that level go through! So their advice may be more relatable to a beginner than a professional industry level artist who’s been drawing for like 30 yrs. Just as they said, everyone can offer different insights, doesn’t matter your skill level
