The more I see all these JK videos with bolt on coil over kits, high steer kits one ton kits, and easily installed long arm kits, the more I realize I messed up buying a TJ.
Pretty sweet stuff. I'd say weld it on after you bolt it up if you want more rigidity. Don't know if its needed though.
I saw a new bolt on kit at sema 2018 no cutting required. Not sure if it’s jks. I’d buy a bolt on one.
why do you need a 2" bump stop if you didn't adjust the ride height? DId you lose 2" of upward travel with this mod?
What's the total expanded and compressed length eye to eye for those coilovers?
Will this JK coilover conversation work with a bilstein 6112 coilover?

Both on and offroad your ride quality will improve dramatically with a proper coilover conversion. Plus the FOX 2.5 Coilovers in our kit have the optional DSC adjustment to better adapt to your driving style.
@@JKSmanufacturing I'm also thinking of a coilover kit on my 'LD' (Leisure Driver) 2018 JKU. It currenlty has the MOPAR 2: lift with Fox shocks. Good or Bad idea? Also, whats the estimated labor + parts cost(s)?
@@ifp123 It all depends on what you are trying to do with your Jeep, the coilover conversion is a great way to go to overall have a better ride quality/offroad performance but can be near the top end of some budgets. Install cost will vary from shop to shop but typically you are looking at about 6-8 hours of labor by a professional to install them.
@@JKSmanufacturing Why would a coilover improve ride? It lets ride height be adjustable. It gives options in dual-rate springs. But the shock calibrations can be equivalent. But those shouldn't intrinsically change the ride or handling.
WOW.. 1 year later, and the offroad bug has me infected. I now am on an AEV 4" lift with 37" nittos ,HD tie rod, etc., etc. Still don't have a dana 44 yet. I'm doing blue and black rated trails now. I still have those coilovers in mind.
Bolt on front suspension...
So, you cut off the factory welded brackets and then bolt on the new coil-over brackets.
What is the long term structural stability and potential for wheel misalignment issues upon doing this?

Does the 3.5" lift height kit include 12" coilovers...or is it limited to 10"?
Our JK Coilover Conversions use 10" travel FOX coilovers.
JKS Manufacturing would it be possible to utilize a 12” coilover with the brackets?
@@423XJ You could run a 12" coilover in there with our mounting brackets and that part wouldn't matter as much as going outside our spec for droop travel, you may want to look into a longer drive shaft and just see where things could bind up.

Nice product. Though, man... use the correct tool for the job. You can see where you scratched the paint on the shocks with your knife. I assume sharp knife against super important rubber o-ring is a common sense no no. Remind me to ask for a different installer when I order mine ;)

Ok so that one bolt for the bracket is close to a open square hole in the frame. That doesn't seem like a good idea and very strong. I see that to be the first place to fail. Especially when rust starts to set in. Which it will eventually.
