This very late California Zephyr #6 arrived in Fort Morgan at 0411 MST (7 hrs. & 55 min. late) P40 #824 & P42 #207 brought the 7-car train to a stop with car 6 to the parking area platform for station service to 4 detraining passengers. With the station work safely completed, the high ball was given and on a clear signal at east Ft. Morgan CP into a 20-mph restricted speed zone the #6 Zephyr departed for its next stop at McCook, NE.
