Your videos have sold more Marshall's than any paid for advertising. These gifts are in some way a thank you from Marshall which I think is a fine gesture by them along with the repair to your jubilee. You absolutely deserve this. 👏 👏👏
There’s something special that happens when you get to play unapologetically with a loud amp, especially a Marshall. All of a sudden everything makes sense about dynamics, touch, attitude.
Awesome Dave !!! I work for Marshall in the finishing area but was off on holiday when your tour must have been otherwise I’d have waved hello as I’ve been a fan of the channel for a long time ! Hope you had a great tour !!
Fab day out, Dave and Tottie! Nice camera work, Tottie! Certainly a day to remember for you both. Thanks to all at Marshall Amplification, for giving you the V.I.P tour and the use of their guide and studio. Thrill to hear you enjoy their facilities and the sweet gesture of a special gifts bag.Marshall the 'Legend' by Jim Marshall and Co. 🎉 🇬🇧 😊
An absolutely beautiful experience and a lifelong memory for sure. I'm so glad you got to go and experience that with your sister. They really treated you well, especially with the gifts and for fixing your amp for you. That jubilee sounds amazing! Definitely hold on to it. They really are the greatest Marshall ever made. I owned an original 2553 (50 watt head) for many years. Sold it and always regretted it, but recently purchased one of the 25 watt re-issues. It's absolutely beautiful and extremely close to the original I owned. I greatly enjoyed the video Dave! Thank you for doing what you do!
This is exactly what Marshall needs. Having you there playing through some cranked stacks is the best marketing ! For any new amps, they just need to let you play them like this for an hour on video.
Glad you got the VIP treatment. Well deserved. Of the amps you played, my faves were the Jubilee, YJM, and the Studio JTM. Gotta get one of those eventually.
Sigh... watching this makes me nostalgic for the good old days when I used to tour with 2 x JCM800's and at least a couple of 4x12 cabs, often four for larger venues. Cos you could back then. Hell it was almost obligatory! I've since sold them on as I hardly gig now but they're still in use out there and will be gracing a few festival stages next summer rather than gathering dust in my lock up unit so all good. My old amps also got a trip down to Milton Keynes once and, just like how Dave and his sister were greeted, they really look after you. Such a great company. But they're a business Dave. They gave you the gifts as they know the crack and will be very aware you've been an ambassador for their products for many years.
Never change Dave. You deserve the best. You will always be one of my biggest influences, one of my most important influences. Thanks for all the amazing content and for being you.
Living through pain make the good times feel so damn awesome. Those who know suffering carry on in a state of perpetual gratefulness that affords the best existence possible. Always looking for new Marshall-factory-tour videos and this one is the best! Thank you, from a fellow Silver Jubilee reissue owner who also feels guilt from having a few awesome things scattered about.
Thank you for letting me go on the Marshall tour with you and your Sister. I never imagined I would actually see what they do and have there...All the Amps were sounding good but the Little Yellow looking one at the end had the sweetest tone .Again, Thanks for sharing your journey . ....From across the pond In mid-state NY USA🎸🎸
Wow! What a great opportunity to play through those classic amps, you deserve it Dave, you have been playing Marshalls for so long now I feel like you are one of their ambassadors, especially for solid state. Great video by Your sister too.🙌
Hi Dave im an ex BBC sound engineer and i loved this video your enthusiasim has cheered me up no end ! you are going from strength to strength. keep going .....
Only two guitarists I follow today, Dave Simpson and Chris Buck. Both are held in high regards by me and can’t think of anybody else I would like to see do this tour..👍🇦🇺
Quality family time! Thank you for taking us along on your well deserved play at the Marshall plant, Dave! It’s just incredible watching your continued success.
Amazing video, I felt I was there with you. Awesome. Deeply touching. This video and who you were being has stayed with me all day and I have not stopped playing my gear. I’m not mad or strange after all, that feeling you get when you, your guitar, amp are one you described wonderfully.
This video makes me a weeny bit proud that I've still got the Marshall halfstack I bought for 4000 nkr back in 1987 at the tender age of 15. It's a 1974 50 watt 4 input lead head (3 x ECC83 pluss 2 x EL34) and matching 4 x 12 cab with Celestion 16 ohm 25 watt creambacks. And it's what I used until 2013 when I decided it was time to switch to a Fender Twin. I'm gonna be very, very hard pressed to sell that Marshall rig. Even though I don't use it anymore, it holds so many memories...
You deserved that Dave. All your hard work and dedication plus the pleasure your content has given to the people of the tube is second to none. I hope Marshall do a signature amp for you. Thank you again.
Thanks Dave for sharing your lovely day with us! 3:04 I have been fantasising getting a DSL100 head. Going by how that chap lugged your silver jubilee head, I am having second thoughts! So glad they sorted you out by fixing your amp as you were there.
Fun tour! I had a chance like that once at a warehouse filled with Carvin X100B stacks and it was awe inspiring as you say. Loved that little rig you played at the end and that tune you did on it totally ripped! Thanks
There's just something about an amp that stares you in the face. Had a Marshall Plexi stack back in the 1970's. Can't imagine what that thing would be worth today.
Loved your Jubilee, so versatile. Great to hear amps, without all the pedals, creating the sounds of my youth. Well done Marshall, well done Dave, a match made in heaven for sure.
I was working in here, at R&D a few years ago. I have very good memories. Some things have changed since then, as is to be expected. I'm glad to see people I worked with. Thank you for uploading this video.
I didn't catch the name of the fella who showed you around but he is absolutely who I would expect! I would have been heartily disappointed if it was some geezer in a collar and tie 😂😂❤ Fantastic video Dave. What a thrill and to see you playing on that stack ❤
awesome davo! sis was diggin the playin too im betting! loved the bits where she would "follow" the cables from you to the amp n back again! PRICELESS filming!
Did Marshall realise that once Dave is in the deepest good gravy sauce mode, it is hard to stop him playing. He is clearly in his element, playing these iconic Marshall heads, its all about the tone and feeling it, which he clearly is. Being in a room, set up to deliver pure unadulterated rip your face of sound, is an experience in itself. Dave, Dave, time for home, Dave, it's midnight, still unable to get him out of the Marshall sweetshop. So glad, it added to the good memories of life Dave, which is what we should always reflect on, in the Ying/Yang or life.
Like a kid in a sweet shop, I can’t think of anyone that deserves this more than you, glad you got the experience 👍🎸🤘BTW, the gifts ain’t free, you’ve earned them with hours of practice & entertaining us, & you deserve that too. 😁
To play through a Marshall Stack at the Marshall Factory has got to be a memory of a lifetime. Congratulations.Oh, and to be encouraged to play as loud as you want to , well that simply put the whole experience over the top. Sounding good by the way.... I play through a '59 Bassman and an '85 Marshall 50 watt Mark II Lead. As I'm watching your entire video, I decided I am going to purchase another Marshall, this time the 100 W Stack
It took forever but Marshall is finally understanding that they gotta get TH-camrs to interact with their brand if they want to stay in business Also maybe they’ll use your input if they ever update the MG series
You're completely right. Imagine all the money that goes into fancy marketing when all they need is to film Dave playing through a cranked stack. New amp coming? Just film Dave playing it for an hour.
This was such a great video , that Sex Pistols head amp looks so gorgeous , your playing is just so captivating , i loved the sound of all , your Jubilee and the Studio sounded great
Loved this! Thanks for sharing this with us. That Marshall tour was better than going myself. Great playing there in the studio bit place. And the piano playing was a bonus as well Dave, sounded really good. All that was missing was the Zoom pedal on the big rig there. The amps sounded nice but you need that extra effect ;)
Ammazing Dave and your pritty sister as well as Marshall Guys thank you all very much for a show :-) It was verry nice to see this heart of fantastic sound and legendary stuff.
This is amazing!!! One of my dreams to do a day at Marshall amps! I was lucky enough to work with Blackstar before my brain injury but Marshall is just another level! Just the heritage ❤
As if I couldn’t love/appreciate you Mr Dave enough you go and make a Bill Bailey reference at the beginning of the vid! Let this whole hour plus of wonderment begin! Cheers Dave and Tott, as always you’re both legends!
Amazing vid Dave you deserved that tour being such a talented musician and bloody nice bloke the camera sister was great also. Best wishes from a 🥶🥶🥶🏴🏴🏴🏴 nice guy who gave you both the tour.x
OK ive woke up in a parallel universe where Dave finally gets the VIP Marshall Tour and the credit his props so rightfully deserve...Best video yet
Im still waiting for Fender to give him a John Frusciante signature Stratocaster to review. (And keep) If anyone deserves it, its Dave. What a legend.

Enjoy the perks of where your talent is taking you Dave! It's a beautiful thing!
Your videos have sold more Marshall's than any paid for advertising. These gifts are in some way a thank you from Marshall which I think is a fine gesture by them along with the repair to your jubilee. You absolutely deserve this. 👏 👏👏
Seeing the unbridled joy when he's infront of the huge jubilee marshall stack is just fantastic.

Dave you give me so much happiness just watching your videos, that I really struggle to find anywhere else. Thanks Dave.

I would love them to hire Dave as spokes-player and send him on a marketing tour......great idea
Enjoy the journey dude ❤
If there’s one person that deserves it it’s you, Dave!
Your videos just keep getting better. 😊
Glad you got the VIP treatment. Well deserved. Of the amps you played, my faves were the Jubilee, YJM, and the Studio JTM. Gotta get one of those eventually.
Brilliant video Dave. what a day out! The sound you had out of that Studio JTM was just awesome.
I love your enthusiasm for your craft. Nothing beats hearing an amp full throttle. You deserve this experience.
There's loud, there's Marshall loud then theree is Dave Simpson Marshall loud !

An absolutely brilliant video, cheers, Dave! Great to see how Marshall welcomed and looked after you. Enjoy the good stuff, you totally deserve it.

I'm glad you got the rockstar tour at Marshall, you and Johan Segeborn are probably the two biggest Marshall advocates on TH-cam

Great video.
Just before I saw this I was watching Gary Moore playing live on that stage not long before we lost him. 🎸
This is awesome! That Jubilee sounded amazing! This is the way to get a proper Marshall tour 🤘🤘
Fun tour! I had a chance like that once at a warehouse filled with Carvin X100B stacks and it was awe inspiring as you say.

That little small Marshall stack at the end sounded so good man. It would take pedals really well. Almost had a Fender vibe to it.
Like a kid in a sweet shop, sounding fab as always.
Amazing video Dave, those amps sound fantastic !
