I noticed a lot of pro bodybuilders can't pose for shit. Side triceps and front lat spread... Is like no one knows how to hit them. When hitting the front lat spread, your traps are supposed to retract and your lats stick out. Also side triceps you are supposed to lock out like the way Dorian use to hit it. Big arms is not an excuse. Phil has one of the biggest set of arms and he locks out and looks great. When you lock out you can see more definition.

Ronnie had a torn lat, he was injured that year. He didn't show up at 100% but HONESTLY, he still looked better than Jay, still had that crazy vascularity and conditioning, and a better shoulder to waist to legs ratio. Jay always had a wide, blocky waist, not his fault just his genetics. Jay didn't "win", rather Ronnie "lost" as he got penalized for not being at HIS respective 100% which is what the judges were used to 🤷🏾‍♂️

I am confused. Jay wasn’t as good as Ronnie firing on all cylinders. No one was. So Jay was patient and made sure he was the second best so when Ronnie finally wasn’t the best because of age or injury, then he was the best! And then he backed it up with more wins.
You clearly haven’t had to be second best in the pecking order if you don’t understand that patience is a key component to victory. If Ronnie wasn’t patient, he would not have won. Muscles don’t grow in a single year. 💡

Haven’t even watched the vid yet, but I hope he says that Jay simply waited until Ronnie got older, because that’s the truth. Jay could not, would not beat a prime Ronnie. And as much as I like Jay cause he seems to be a good guy, he was definitely given gifts in his placing in quite a few Olympia’s IMO. I think his physique was a bit overrated. 🤷‍♂️

Ronnie got old and had a torn lat that year. Held him back. Ronnie lost more than jay won

I remember Ronnie saying he was trying to be the first bodybuilder to win at 300lbs n that's what caused him to be off that night. Jay wouldn't win in normal Ronnie conditions

Ronnie injured his lat, he couldn't pose properly...jay even admitted he could never beat Ronnie at his best

I thought Jay did enough at the 2001 Mr. Olympia to defeat Ronnie. Another controversial Mr. Olympia result.

He waited for Ronnie to no longer be prime Ronnie and then he won coming in diced. Nobody came close to Ronnie at his best, except maybe Phil Heath at his best.

This question is straightforward bullshit and that's not opinion it's fact although J was making steady improvements Ronnie's body started to deteriorate this year was more subtle the next year it was horrendous you can see clear atrophy due to all types of nerve damage they did not catch Ronnie off in fact the year that he really pushed him with all the judge's fault because the year prior to that they told Ronnie that he will be scored down for his midsection so the next year Ronnie brought down his midsection and looked great and then all the Publications said this is the year that Jay pushed Ronnie when Jay just got a little bigger and Ronnie brought his midsection in so Ronnie said forget this I'm going back to the old me. in short and I am a fan of Jay I have several videos of his Ronnie's body stop responding due to internal damage to say anything else is damn near blasphemous did not be an off Ronnie and definitely did not be Ronnie at his best plain and simple

Jay did not beat Ron...Ron just got old and injured after abusing his body for many years to become the. GOAT...the version of Ron that Jay"beat" was a far cry from a prime. Ronnie
