I remember in 8th grade football when we were in the weight room, we would all try to outdo each other on lifts screaming “YEAH BUDDY” and “LIGHTWEIGHT!” Ronnie has influenced multiple generations. Dude is a legend and a hero.
When he was a Arlington Police Officer, I would see him almost every morning in the same store when I was on my way to work. He always had a funny comment when I was in line with him. I didn't know at the time that he was Mr Olympia, just knew he was a body builder and an officer. He is great guy regardless of the how successful and famous he was. The same guy you see on video is the same guy he is when you randomly meet him. He is a great representative of the sport.
Ronnie doesn’t give himself enough credit, he put inhuman amounts of work into his body, it doesn’t matter that he competed in an era where technology was more prominent. He was the greatest of all time.

Jesus that was tough watch towards the end. Ronnie is such a legend and was incredibly magnanimous in accepting this. He lifted super heavy but i can't help that it was a few surgical errors that has lead to his current condition. KING RONNIE FOREVER!!!

Pay attention to how much appreciation he had for his wife, mother, and even sisters for cooking for him, and making his home a home when he came back from the gym. You can’t put their hard work and dedication on paper, or put a dollar sign on it, but it’s where all our strongest get their wings

Well, he also had several botched surgeries. He shouldn't be in as bad a shape as he is, unfortunately.
You will NEVER hear him say he regrets it. He never complained and went to the gym even in pain. Shit happens. He is a true warrior.
He had said he would have done this again without hesitation. Only thing he's change is do a few more squats with 800, cause "he had a couple more in him"
