THanks brother and yes! It can be fun to just look at things with a microscope :D even when there isn't really a use :P
Cheers and have a good week over there!

It will definitely give more confidence during soldering. Especially cabling on modern, tiny receivers can be a daunting task. Not with this microscope however!

It does take the guesswork out of checking your soldering-work indeed.. Comes at a price though.. not cheap

A very simple question a lot of ppl reviewing these Andonstar "free" microscopes that they are not covering, :- "is this good for watch repairing"??
Is there enough room under the main scope to get your both hands under the scope as for watch repairing????
Every one is constantly going on about "soldering".🤨
    Very thorough review. Thanks.
    Mike.
Btw, that guy with the cheaper version, wish he got back to you and stated the model.!!!🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️😢would have been nice to compare.👍🏿 👍🏼

      Hi there Michael,
sooooo yeah I guess they sent these microscopes to channels that are into soldering or what? ;)
I think the scope should be usefull for watch-work as well though. there aren't obstructions at the sides of the scope. the lighting is good.. Ofcourse I don't have experience with working on watches myself but I think the resolution should be good enough

@@DutchRC Thank you very much for your reply, oh yeah, the resolutions are great, the endoscope is great, its the height to get your hands under the main lense that seems to be an issue. If i have 150 or 200 mm, im happy with everything else, your review was thorough. Thanks, this could be the one.

How many m/s of lag on the integrated display, and with an external display?

    • @DutchRC
      @DutchRC  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

Good question. I did test this but well.. the video was already to long ;)
The lag of the integrated display is Low.. I had no trouble soldering from the monitor.
i have not tested this with an external display though.. Not sure if I'd be testing the video-output or the lag of that external display to be honest

I have one of the cheaper models and it has better features than this one. The height adjustment is much simpler, it has a knob that moves the camera the full length of the support post. It has an adjustable ring light around the lens which this one seems to be lacking. I use the ring light most of the time and don't use the adjustable lights at all and they are removable. No endoscope and no real need for it. Mine has a much simpler wiring, USB to the aux lights and a second one from those lights to the camera unit. No wifi or remote and no need for those either. Mine has a focus knob on the display which is easier to use without disturbing the position of anything. All the extra stuff on this one would get in the way when doing RC electrontics. I can get my quadcopters under the camera and solder things with them in place. Mine also has a built in battery which makes it portable.

Sounds good and would be nice to compare! What make & model do you have over there?
I had kinda expected auto-focus on mine by the way (at this price) but maybe that's not possible somehow...
