Good luck in LA Nathan. End of an era. Been watching since it was just Roman and Nathan. Please please still fly out and do the 3 person top gear challenges. Love the Roman, Andre, Roman vids. Also love the Roman and Nathan pods, he is the only ones who messes around with Roman (in a best friend kind of way) and it’s hilarious.
Will be cool to have tfl producing content in so cal though thats a big automotive area. Having ley locations around the country is cool. The new moab place now socal its cool to see things developing

This is pretty funny judging by the number of California plates around the front range these days (Texas and Arizona too)
They sent him to socal for work theyll send him to florida for vacation they live in colorado best sking in the world up there every year. I can drive 30 minutes north, ski resort i live in a freaking desert bro its crazy. So cal is an incredible place you got uss midway meuseum there commissioned in 1944.
The Raptor R being $18,000 more than the heavy duty off-road ZR2 Bison diesel makes no sense. Supercharged Baja truck or not.

my wishlist for the next gen GM trucks: designed for at least 35" tires as an option, 200 lbs more payload, at least 2000 watts of 120v power, rear selectable locker as an option on more models, easy multiple aux switches add on.. basically all the bonuses of the various competitors

Nice finish w/part 2 fellas. I agree with Andre here, the ZR2 Bison brings the same capability as the GMC version at I believe close to $9k less money and for an overall capability perspective. Having said that, Raptor R is a totally different vehicle and if HD is not a requirement for towing, etc then that is the truck I would be looking at so you're both absolutely right but for the right use cases.

Darn it Nathan! If only this announcement came out a month ago. I just sold my late sister's home in LA. It was a perfect location for you. About an hour and a half drive, max, from the manufacturer HQ and test tracks. Also close to supplier HQs. I would have offered you first dibs on a 4 bedroom house with a room perfect for recording.
How about a branch here in northeast Tennessee, in the Cumberland Gap area??? 🤠
My whole family is from this area and while that would be super cool I think the market wouldn’t really support the channel considering the wages of the area. These folks are having a hard enough time finding buyers for new cars in NE Tennessee, on top of all the housing appreciation that the locals cannot afford.

What off-road truck would you recommend for a mid-level/affordable off-road truck?
Trail boss (diesel or 5.3), FX4 F150 (tremor is just too expensive once you add a couple features), rebel, Ram off road package???
Looking at upgrading my 2015 F150 FX4 5.0 and wondering what might do just as good as it is off and on road, with a bit more comfort, more payload, and fuel economy.

@kieransteele7223 why just cause of the size? The 2.7 is a monster. It's the best engine imo Ford makes. This is after being a Ford technician for 14 years.
@@1FiftyOverland power for towing mainly. I agree the 2.7 is a good engine, especially for unloaded driving and around town. From those of my friends that I have driven though, it left more to be desired when towing.
I also like the feel and sound of the 5.0 better, and the power of the 3.5 better. Both of which in the 21+ trucks appear to be reliable.
But honestly I’m leaning toward a 3.0 duramax for MPG. The Chevys also have a lot more bed space in the short bed size.

The base Ram RHO is de-contented compared to a Raptor though chaps !!

Do a frame off restoration & make it your own. F×^k these new truck prices & their low quality. If you have money & don't care, than go for it! As far as the Raptors, IMO, the original ones were the best with the 6 2L. And I thought then mid 40K was insane for a truck. Now $125k?? And the original came with the option of a king cab, so it actually had an usable bed.
1000+ pmt, sky high insurance rates, dealer service so expensive now, low quality trucks require constant fixing. Cost to own is tooooooo high for any of these trucks!!!!!

As much as I love the Raptor. The Tremor is my choice. Tows great and still enough off road stuff.

Power Wagon is the best value and the best off road pickup. Rebel, Tremor ZR2 are better road trucks but not as good off road as the purpose built PW.

I want video of the exact opposite of super trucks, maybe an 80s or 90s Toyota truck videos, I would rather watch an ordinary truck do extraordinary things than an extraordinary truck do ordinary things.
I want to see extraordinary trucks doing extraordinary things but these days the only way i fan afford a truck is if its a brand new 1989 toyota tacoma with the 4 banger and the glass headlights and i pay 19,999.99 and no more. If money is no object.. I would get the raptor R, but for towing I would get the F-250 Tremor with the 7.3 Lt gas engine :) :) And good luck in LA nathan!!!
Nathan brings up a good point about the diesels having a longer range. Lots of other situations going on with diesels though esspecially these days
You can get a Shelby Baja 350 or 250 so basically yes there is a super truck in heavy duty trucks
