I know it doubles your cost, but i have the same one. I also got a graco 360 dual speed handheld on amazon for smaller jobs. Total feom priming and cleaning you lose 1/2-3/4 gallon of pain with the big one. If painting a house not a big deal for the speed, but for smaller projects like just a garage door or kitchen cabinet doors or priming and painting your house doors, i found thw graco airless handheld is awesome. I oaid $200 with coupon for avanti (im sure it was cheaper when you bought it lol inflation is nuts). I paid $204 for the handheld graco. They each have their place. But both have worked well. Make aure you clean, clean, clean, clean it right away. All of it. And use storage fluid after cleaning really well if youre not going to use it for a week or more.
When tightening the spray guard (red part at end of gun) dont overtighten. Make sure spray tip turns between spray and clear clog reverse easily and doesnt hurt the seals. But thw new guard is only $5 at HF. So nit bad. Max tip size is 17 (last 2 numbers on the tips X17). The forst number ill use 515 as example is the width of spray approximately at 12" from painting surface . You double the forst number, in this case 5, and its 10" width. The last 2 numbers are orifice size of tip. The stock one is 15 meaning its .015 (fifteen thousandth of an inch) max is 17 for this unit again.
So happy you added the tip part bc I didn't know a tip went in there and that was such a waster of paint. ot just shot out. I then saw the tip in the box and figured that needed to be in there. When are you posting a video of the final product?

Advise to wear safety glasses and EVER put finger on gun tip when pressure in hose . There has been accidentally forced paint under finger nail and doctor had to cut finger the off .
