I think Hurt was the first song I tried to play by ear. I’m not sure I got that Dsus in there. Thank you so much for your vids. I’ve thought Landside was intimidating but maybe not so much anymore😊
I’m learning the second song and I noticed the way you switch which fingers you use to play the chords. Is it out of ease or is there a specific way these chords should be played in order not to build bad habits? In other words, should I learn to play the chords exactly how you’re teaching or can I tweak which fingers I use for ease? I’m still at the beginner level after not playing guitar in over 10 years and am re-learning but just want to make sure I do this right this time around. Thank you for your time, love this tutorial; it’s actually giving me a reason to practice again. God bless🙏
As a beginner to intermediate guitarist, I think that he does it both out of ease and because he has built the habit of doing that. In my opinion, it is optional, but it is better if you learn that habit
I see a lot of fingerstyle guitarists on TH-cam use a kapo but I'm hesitant to use mine I am scared I won't be able to gain a familiarity on the fretboard
One of the first guitar tutorials i've watched that's neither way to long or way to fast to understand. Great vid

You're very welcome. I'd say the chorus of Landslide is intermediate but the verses are nice and straightforward.
Thank you!

Does it matter if somebody doesn't have a capo?

Would be great to show the tab on the video
Landslide is much more difficult then that. But I like the easy version lol
you need to slow down a lot and maybe show what you're doing a bit closer.
Me not having a capo: 🚶🚶
You can play the same fingering at the base of the neck - it will not be the same key but it will still sound good 😊
Why bother holding the note E in the first chord of Fast car song? We are not playing that note at all.
Learn to finger style for couple weeks and come back here😂😂😂 this isn’t for beginners.
