KIA K5 JUMPS IN THE AIR | TRIPLE THREAT STUNT

- To introduce the brand’s most powerful midsize sedan ever, Kia executed a daring “Triple Threat Stunt” performed by professional stunt drivers on a track outside Atlanta. The Triple Threat Stunt featured two turbocharged K5 models sailing through the air in opposite directions as a third K5 model slid into position below the airborne pair. The Triple Threat Stunt served as the kick-off of a multi-channel marketing campaign in support of the all-new 2021 K5 midsize sedan.
True to KMA’s “Give It Everything” philosophy, the wide-reaching, real-time Triple Threat Stunt was designed to reset expectations by placing the K5 in situations previously untouched in this traditionally conservative category. Directed by Darrin Prescott, action unit director on some of Hollywood’s most action-packed films including Baby Driver, Ford Vs. Ferrari, Drive, John Wick, Black Panther, and The Bourne Ultimatum, the stunt was streamed live online and provided car enthusiasts with a virtual look at the capability of the all-new K5 midsize sedan.
In addition to Prescott, the Triple Threat Stunt featured professional driver Collete Davis and actor Jeremy Ray Valdez, as event co-hosts and professional drivers Sean Graham and father-daughter stunt driving duo Jalil Jay and Brionna Lynch. As Graham maneuvered, steered, and slid his K5 into position with stop-on-a-dime accuracy, two K5s driven by the Lynches, sped down straightaways towards one another before each hit a ramp becoming airborne and sailing over Graham’s K5. The “Triple Threat Stunt” ended with all three K5 models, and their respective drivers, safe and sound back on terra firma.

The K5 is probably the only car that's ominously cool
I had a 2022 K5 GT line I gave it back after 10k miles when the back trim (where the second exhaust pipe is) came off because it’s literally plastic clips holding it on and it was raining and apparently can’t hold up against puddles. And then the splash guard came off because I live in Chicago and there’s major potholes and it’s a low car and again the car is practically plastic. To say the least I was pissed and just traded it back in for another Forte GT line which I’m in love with and already have 10k miles and no issues (I Uber aka the amount of miles lol)

People are far too serious about non serious stuff. Advertising or not it's just a stunt they are having fun with it it's for entertaining. I mean why bash it and be so serious it's not personally towards you nor are they damaging your vehicle. The cars look great not perfect but great and it definitely looks cooler and different from most cars in this particular segment. Who doesn't love to standout....oh wait almost no one because most people buy what everyone else buys because of brand names and because it's expensive.

I went to the Kia dealership in Mobile,al on four different occasions with no results appointments are to far out. When I came in and reported that I had lights on my dashboard I was told that I would have to make a appointment no even made attempt to even look or tell me what it may be or if driving it would not cause any problems. I left and called Team Gunther Kia they told me over the phone what it maybe but it needs to be diagnosed. They made me a appointment with in a week. The dealership in Mobile appointment was three weeks out with this type of service I was considering put it up for sale or trading it. After my appointment at Team Gunther Kia my confidence with Kia has been renewed the staff at Team Gunther Kia. I was great the service department rocks my car was serviced in a timely manner as was told to me. My car was wash and sanitized and the advisor Ms. Cassaundra Cormier was awesome I will driving from Mobile for my service. When I look for another Kia I will come to Team Gunther Kia again thanks for rea
