Great video, nice and clear visuals of what you're doing and each individual step. A lot of other videos cut to halfway through when they've removed all the plates and trim already and say 'here's how to change the oil' while pouring it into the engine 😂 no shit 😂

Thanks, great little video this one. I had seen a few others but with the camera angles you are always wondering what you are looking at with some of them. This one is nice and clear. When I picked up my FN2 I read up that it was a bit of a process to change the filter and was not sure I could be bothered with it and it's just easier to take to a garage but this looks ok.
One thing, I did hear you have to remove the wheel as you have shown and remove the wheel arch lining, plastic panel. Those plastic studs? were there many of them to remove and did you break any? Just wondering if it might be worth trying to source a bunch before I start. Keep up the good work, subbed!

Thanks for the kind words and for the sub:) I just remove the two plastic studs that I show in the video, none broke. I have also previously changed the oil without loosening the plastic, it works too. But if you spill a lot of oil when you change the filter, it gets quite messy on the plastic. Overall, the work becomes easier if you loosen the two plastic studs in my opinion:)

Is 5 litres enough for the oil change?

Could I do this by only jacking it up on the drivers side only?
