I have been a calligrapher for some 26 years, thank you for reminding me that there is still so much to learn about this art. Your use of accent and subtle flourish is a joy to watch and a pleasure to emulate!! Please keep creating !!!
you should do tutorials and different techniques and how to handle the pens and stuff like that, i dont know i know if you've done any videos like that, but that would be really helpful. i just bought the whole set and i really like the way the pens write.
I'm really inspired to use some of the forms from this in my make-up; if I do, can I blog about it and link to you? (Might not work out well enough in drawn-on-my-face form for that to ever happen, but I'd like to at least try!) I do a lot of foliate designs inspired by calligraphy and and decorative motifs like acanthus leaves already, but I've only just thought to try actual letters, just making it decorative and organic enough to work on my /face/.
hey man! amazing work! I was wondering if you could provide me with the angle of nib and nib widths. and how you do the edges of the letters, you know, when you raise half of the nib and what not. I wouldn't mind paying!
***** I think I'll go for the 3.8 pilot then, and fill out the rest of the smaller nib sizes: 1.1, 1.5, 2.3 mm with a cheapo fountain pen . I'm pretty new to hand lettering but I just got hooked on it playing with dip nibs, well summers almost here so I need to take it all outside and ink bottles are a drag. Thanks and Keep it up!
From shopping at Goulet Pens and watching STRB (?) Brown, pen collector, calligrapher and commentator, I don't know if you know of him, I've been learning a bit about calligraphy and the pens that are used today. You are awesome. Thanks for posting. PS There's no way I could do this, just think the pens are really cool and have a great respect for you and your work.
+Judith Meyer I do a lot of shopping at Goulet Pens. :) I've watched a bit of sbrebrown 's stuff. Nice in-depth pen reviews. Thank you. I appreciate it. :)

Dat ''A'' Awesome work mate ! I'd like to do this kind of video too but i need to find a way to film it in a confortable way ... Any tips ? how are you filming ?
Thanks! I'm still playing with camera positioning and such. This one was filmed with the camera on a tripod opposite me pointing down at the paper. The camera was filming upside down. Video is then flipped in editing software.
May i know what paper you usually use for parallel pens? I haven't been able to find a suitable paper for this pen, the ink will feather): thank you in advance!(:

Yes thanks for showing your work! It is very beautiful and I am very admired of your work.
You're welcome. And thank you. :)
Drawing pretty letters can be done with a little practice. But such precision in your proportions and composition is truly inspiring. Thank you.
+Robert Wolff Thank you.
Absolutely beautiful! I'm just learning blackletter and how to handle a parallel pen. Glad to know that this is what's achievable. Cheers!

+A0Z 90 degree nib. it's a 3.8mm.
+Uvulus is it the one you prefer? I'm trying to pick between 2.4 and 3.8
I don't think I'd go as big as the blue one just yet
I kind of alternate favorites between the 2.4 and the 3.8. I like them both . Slight preference for the 3.8 though.

I like this :) Did you by any chance speed it up in editing process?
Thanks. Yes, the video is approximately 2x speed.
Do we have to fill the ink in the pen or its just a sort of sketch pen type..built in type I mean??😓
The pen is refillable. You can buy cartridges for it or refill the ones that come with it.
