I agree that Stitch First was more suited to me, but I've had more boxes with them so they know what I prefer. I have to wonder if that factors in....
That skirt! You do love us. It's made for a 13 year old and as a mom I would forbid the 13 year old from wearing it. My grandpa was a mechanic too, in Minneapolis.
I felt that skirt looked juvenile, too. Even if I were at my desired weight with legs of solid muscle, I'd not wear it simply because of the style. Having a mechanic for a grandpa really wound up being handy!
I love the Vince Camuto blouse. VINCE CAMUTO BLOUSES ALWAYS WORK.

Hear me out…The blue and white dress looks great on you! It absolutely compliments your smaller waistline and, imo, you do not need to add a belt to it. I think it is a steal and you wear it well.
Hey there! As I watched the video back I realized the blue dress looked good. But in reality I just wouldn't reach for it much. The stylist did such a great job with cute and affordable pieces!

Hi Nancy Anne! I sure did love the Stitch Fix box. I wasn't so keen on the Dia Box. I thought that the items were more drab and definitely not cruise inspired although the Vince Camuto blouse was very pretty and looked awesome on you. In the Stitch Fix box, I actually thought the dress looked wonderful on you, and although I have never been a huge fan of cold shoulder styling, I loved that blouse and thought it looked great! The navy shirt was good too, though I didn't care for the black one - because I also am not a big fan of the tie front - for the reason you mentioned - sometimes awkward!
Hey again, Gloria! 💜 The only two items I kept from these boxes was the Vince Camuto and cold shoulder tops. I wore both on the cruise. I also am not a fan of cold shoulders OR orangy colors, but I love that top!

Hi Nancy. I have that same blue dress from stitch fix I got last year and I love it. I do like the VC top on ya. That cold shoulder top I just got in mint on Saturday and I was thinking they are a thing of the past now. The color is so pretty but i never had a cold shoulder top so im not sure how I feel about that one. I think you made some good choices. But IMO rethink the blue dress it is a good color and yes it is so soft and it’s comfy on a warm day. Ps when you find the perfect sandal make sure to post it for us. I am waiting on my first ever pair of Birkenstock sandals and I hope I like them. See ya Nancy. And congratulations on your family coming to stay with you and cuddle the baby. !!❤
Hi Susan! 💜 I finally gave up on the sandals and decided to bring the pairs I already have. I did order a pair of waterproof flip flops for the pool area. That's going to be the extent of my shoes for this cruise, aside from a pair of athletic shoes.
That was the first cold shoulder top I've ever liked. I thought it would be fun for the cruise.
I would not wear that blue dress outside of the cruise. So it's kind of a waste to purchase it. And I have plenty of little dresses like that. What I needed was a swimsuit cover-up. But I found one on Nordstrom Rack, so all is well!! 😁
Had to stop the video to let you know those green shorts are SO flattering on you!! Almost all women have cellulite so please don't let that stop you!! You have great legs!

For Dia I like the coral with tassel tie top. For stitch fix, I liked the blue dress, the sandals and the cold shoulder top. I know you didn’t like the blue dress but I thought it was really cute on you. 😊

Hey Tina! I almost cut the reading of the stylists note out, but the cruise/grandsons comment was just too good! (How I wish!) Honestly, when watching this back this morning I was thinking "I could have cut that out. And that. And that." This video was just too long.
I wound up keeping not only the Vince Camuto top, but also the "cold shoulder" one from Stitch Fix. They're both a little different than anything I have an tropical!
The sandals became uncomfy as I wore them around- I knew they would not work for walking around in port. T hat's Okay- I think I have enough shoes. (Ordered a pair of waterproof flip flops for the pool last night.)

I think Stitch Fix did great. I loved the dress on you. The only thing I liked from Dia was the Vince tank.
I really only liked the Vince tank from Dia, as well, although their box did feel more cruise-like.

Hey beautiful lady! I thought I had already commented on the video and feel really bad I hadn’t. These boxes were good for comparisons, I’m glad you did it, will help those who are within the size brackets for Dia decide if it’s a good option. You have had a few awesome items from Dia, I remember that beautiful little dress you got, was one of the best! … down to the boxes! … neither was fantastic, but neither was awful… the stand out items from both boxes were the beautiful off shoulder top (it’s not called cold shoulder, can’t remember what it is though) and the vince camuto top with the tassels! So cute and pretty, both suit you very well! I also love you in the khaki shorts, you look great in them! I know you hate your legs like I do but yours are far better than mine, I have lumpy wobbly ones where as yours are solid muscle! Everyone has cellulite, a bit of fake tan helps cover it up, but I understand your inbuilt hate, it’s hard to get over it! … you looked terrible in the vero moda skirt, your far too tall for that style, it’s back in again and I almost bought one from stitch fix last month but the colour in the material just wasn’t right. The sage green dress was awful, not the right style for use girls with waists, the grandpa shirt was cute but not right for you at all, great for sloppy hang out wanting nothing tight on! The blue dress was cute on you but too short, I can see why she suggested it as a cover up but not the right thing. The sandals looked cute but I’m not sure they are right for you, I liked the little platform but I feel you would be better with a slight wedge than platform and more of an orthopaedic bottom for support. I doubt stitch fix have any of those kinds of shoes available. The two vest tops are nothing special, you don’t need them! …. My keeps for this are the two tops, I’d say the khaki shorts but your not comfortable in them! ….. btw if you ever fancy keeping one of those short dresses get a pair of cycling shorts for under it. It’s what most women do these days! … keep up the good work girl, your knocking it out the park as always these days! …..I’d love to see what items you’re packing for the cruise, I think others would too but I doubt you would have time for it! The two tops you mentioned are the only things I kept from these boxes.
It always strikes me how intuitive you are about each piece. Many people liked the blue dress on me, and I can see that it was flattering, but for everyday wear it's just too short! I didn't keep the sandals because as I wore them around the piece across the toe, once again, started rubbing wrongly. There's no way I could walk around port in them! The skirt was utterly ridiculous- I couldn't agree more that I looked terrible in it! That was a HARD pass, as was the schlumpy sage green dress. It would be so cute on someone else, but us hourglasses rarely look good in that style, although I do understand the stylist was doing what she could to meet my request for a swimsuit coverup.
Had the khaki shorts been an inch longer, I'd of probably kept them.
That's a good idea about cycling shorts- I never thought of that!
And you are so right- I don't have time to make a packing video, let alone get it edited and out before our trip. Right now we need to be concentrating on getting ready to go and family coming in. (Tuesday!!!)
I owe you an Email. Was going to try and get to that today if the muscle relaxants I had to take don't knock me out and make it impossible. What a time for those pinched nerves in my neck to act up! At least it didn't happen on the cruise. (We leave Friday, set sail Saturday. So excited!)

I LOVE the blue and white SF dress! Yes. It's a little short but not too short and so cute! I like the Dia top and it gave you a fresh look to your cheeks. But everythng else sort of left me feeling a little bored. Nothing wrong but definitely not inspiring.

The light green print top and skirt might look good if you threw a white, long sleeve linen (cotton or linen-like) button up shirt over it and either knotted it at the waist or belted it. Of course, sleeves rolled up.

Vince Camuto top was a keeper as well as the cold shoulder top even though I’m not wild about those. The blue dress was cute on you and didn’t make the hips look big at all. Dia has some great stuff.

Try tying the denim shirt instead of tucking it with the mini skirt 🙂. I like the look of it, but I totally understand why you feel like it is to short.

StitchFix definitely had the clothes that fit you better - the cold shoulder was a cute top and the colour was okay on you - not really too orangey. The other two dark tops looked great but it does come down to a matter of need. That was a cute dress and actually looked quite nice but it was short. I loved the coral top in the Dia box but that was the only thing in there that really looked good on you. (Actually the denim shorts looked fine but too tight isn't going to work) That shirt was not attractive and definitely not a good look for you - the skirt - nice print but that was it. The green dress definitely wasn't flattering.
Interesting comparison - quality, price seemed to be pretty comparable - styling definitely was not.
