My husband’s uncle had saved wood from my husband’s Great Grandmother’s fencing and sheds. He used it to build our three daughters their own birdhouse. Such a treasure for our family as my husband’s memories of his Great Grandmother were nature walks.

(2) Your Grandfather's work table looks like one of the pieces for an outdoor game called "corn hole" so you're already half way there with just a few tweeks and another matching piece. (3) Whenever you mention the sewing machine being gifted to you - I start crying because it is such a beautiful tale of love and generosity and yes, Mary, it is how we are supposed to be: kind and thoughtful.(4) I'm never going to make one of those beautiful stools but sure am enjoying watching you design and make it.
