Especially since they are crooks stealing artifacts from foreign countries and against women’s health care! I don’t understand why anyone especially women shop there or promote them! 😮
Curating your mantle and decor from thrifted finds is So much better than buying them new. In my opinion. Upcycling thrifted things gives your space more of a homemade feel and injects more of your personality into the space. I Love the wheat jar!
These are my favorite kind of videos that you do! Making something out of nothing is not something that everyone can do - and you do it with beautiful grace. I love your early fall mantle.
As usual everything looks great! You have such a vision for all your finds! I always love hearing the birds when you are working outdoors! Thank you for sharing!
I was at Michaels today looking for Fall decorations and walked out with nothing. To me, you get much a better quality repurposing thrift store finds. Heading to the thrift store tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiration, Mary! :)
Mary I wish you well at your booth event-I remember watching a few yrs back when the microburst hit and so much product was damaged but, thank God no one was badly hurt I also recall how shook up you (us viewers)and everyone else there was! Praying for good weather and Memories ✨🤍🙏
I’ve never been to Hobby Lobby, but your handcrafted thrift finds are one of a kind! People who aren’t creative, like me, are the ones that need already made decor, but not you Mary! You take simple, plain things and turn them into works of art!!! 🙌🏻🥰
Your mantel turned out great. I was wondering about the wine rack, but you made it look great! I also love the cute fabric pumpkins. Tip: I keep the stems from pumpkins and squash that I harvest and dry them. I then use them for adding realistic stems to my pumpkin creations.
Such an entertaining channel. Love all your projects. Those thrift store prices were amazing. Love to see your videos as you travel because I love seeing those Amish buggies on the road. You live in a beautiful part of the country. No chilly mornings here where I live. We are still feeling the heat of summer. Thank you.
Even though I love & shop at Hobby Lobby, I decorate my home with items from all over, thrifted & new. I love what you did with your mantle. Once again, you've shown us outside the box decor. ❤
That idea for the wine rack is SO AWESOME!!! I see them all the time in thrift stores and wonder what I can do with them. Thanks once again for an inspiring video!❤
This turned out so beautifully! The vision you have and the new life that you give to older items is so much better than any cookie cutter item that is massed produced at the big box stores. ❤
Love your ideas. I doodle as well. I've been crafting since a child. My mom was a crafter. I ended up being a commercial artist. I still craft most days. I'm retired now. I love your work. Yes,this is a gift from God. I'm so grateful He gave me and you the ability to do so. See you next video. 👍🤗🙂
I laughed out loud when you said "two fairly hideous pumpkins." 😂 They weren't hideous when you got done with them. I love what you did with all the elements for your mantle. I appreciate your creativity and inspiration.
Really created a fine mantle out of thrift store almost junk items! Knowing how to pull together your own individual style and the skill to transform the items is paramount! Blessed fall days!
It’s been such a lovely ride with you as you are growing in leaps and bounds first goes the editing, the music, the different things that you pop in there. I love the one of you under the canopy that made me laugh out loud. Enjoy.
This all turned out beautifully. Your little wheat jar, took me instantly back to my childhood! My Mom had about 6 of these, that she used as little canisters on the counter. So just a fun little memory for me of my Mom and childhood. 💜
I enjoy watching these fun videos of you thrifting and DIY ing. What a great haul on your stool, pumpkins, wine rack, and mirror! I love how you take someone’s trash and turn it into a treasure. You have a wonderful vision of transforming things! Good luck on your sale this weekend!
Mary, you are right, store bought items can be beautiful but expensive at the same time, and sometimes all it takes is a drive to a second-hand store and some creativity to turn items into treasures. You have inspired me to try to do the same thing 😊
I love it Mary…. The simplicity of everything, I love finding pieces for my home and remaking them. Also It makes me feel good and keeping on a budget too. Love all your videos. Happy Fall🧡🧡
Always, love your thrift over haul. I use a wine rack to display my rolling pins. Maybe slats of barn wood ran thru vertically and use to display littles. As for seasonal use maybe Christmas ornaments dangling inside.
You have got to be one of the most talented people I've seen. You can take something ready for the trash and make a treasure out of it!! The mantel is beautiful!! My favorite thing was the jar!! ❤
You could paint the gold oval frame and put a fall looking cloth under the glass, or print off a fall looking print and put under the glass and make a tray out of it. Great finds!
very cozy mary, it looks fresh but still seasonal. you are right the rack is a "bottle rack" which is also used for wine bottles enjoyed your video and have fun at the fair this weekend. greetings from Holland
I live in the desert, so more video time driving to places would be appreciated as your scenery is soooo much different from mine! Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵😷
Personally I would much rather have pumpkins like the ones u made than the ones at Hobby Lobby. Everything is always so pretty that u make. U are truly gifted.
Really enjoyed your video. Hope it motivates me to start some fall changes. It has just been so hot here that I have had no enthusiasm. I absolutely love how the wheat jar turned out. Thanks for sharing.
Makes me want to go back to Amish Country. Just the scenery is great then add the stores, what a way to see new things. Then there is your talents coming through. Thank you for sharing. 😊
Mary, I love your style. There’s just the right amount of items to give it a fall feeling. What a great idea making pumpkins out styrofoam balls with strips of material. Don’t believe I’ve seen that before. The mirror is a perfect accent. I really like it up on the mantle. You found some great items for a low cost. It’s so much fun making your items. To me they have more meaning. ♥️♥️😊👍👍🌟🌟
Everything looks wonderful Mary! I so much enjoy handmade or repurposing items for the home. It's my favorite thing to do. I loved all your items! Thank you always for sharing with us!❤
Skeins of yarn might be fun in the wine rack, and long fireplace matches, or even a bundle of taper candles? Great thrifting finds! Loved the wheat jar.
The prices at your thrift store are amazing!! So much lower than here in maine! They even had some nice furniture! I think it’s all better than hobby lobby items! They are your own. Beautiful job!
Your mantel looks amazing! Love the wine rack and it could be used so many ways in your home. Hung on the wall to hold rolled up towels, like you used it to dry flowers or vintage bottles. Off topic but I love your yard and the scenery you show us as you drive.. beautiful countryside.
Everything is so appropriate for fall....the pumpkins are so cute!!! The vase is a clever project....like the process you went through to make it! The mantle is simple, and beautiful....❤😊
Some darling items and I love how you transformed them all! Brillant. Loved the Styrofoam pumpkins. A few years ago I made some small pumpkins and sewed the pieces but at the top I went into our woods and got moss covered twigs for the stems. They were long dried before I broke them off the dead branches so that was fun and gave it a neat appearance. Love the way you sanded the mirror down and it gives the room a warm fall feeling. White would be a bit much in fall so I am glad you left it just sanded and natural.............very beautiful, everything! Have a beautiful week.
Not sure if you have realize but I have started with your oldest video and working my way to the present. I can just sit and watch one after the other. They are so relaxing and beautiful. I enjoy everyone. I am a New Orleans lady. We don’t have these wonderful thrift stores. We have many antique store but really all too expensive. I look forward to all of your new videos.💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Mary there is a way to cut a continuous strip. Cut across your fabric but stop about an inch from the edge, turn and pivot and cut back the other way and keep doing that. I crochet baskets with fabric and that's how I do it.
Dear Mary, Thank you and your family for everything that you share with all of us. You all are so inspirational. I love your products. They do not disappoint. We are blessed to be able to purchase a few things to share with family. You all are as nice in person as on t.v. And, I just want to say that you all look so much younger in person too. A beautiful and blessed family. Thank you again for your time and, please keep doing what you're doing. It is a God thing as you say. Sincerely, A faithful subscriber.
1000 times better than anything you would have gotten at Hobby Lobby!!!
I agree, so beautiful 💜
For sure so much better than anything store bought! 😅 Love the mirror! ❤
Especially since they are crooks stealing artifacts from foreign countries and against women’s health care! I don’t understand why anyone especially women shop there or promote them! 😮
Mary you are amazing as usual. My mother would call this making something out of nothing. Kudos to you.
the "premade decor" at Hobby Lobby is not that pretty. Your mantel is much more beautiful.
You can also use the wine rack as a towel holder in the bathroom
I love how fearless you are in tackling any project. You really inspire your viewers!
I love how you brightened up all of you finds. The look fabulous on your mantle❤.
The wheat jar was a surprise how pretty it turned out .
There isn’t a challenge that you can’t master!!! Wonderful as always!!! 🍁🧡🍂
That wheat jar turned out wonderfully! I'd not seen that done before.
Only Mary!
The fabric/canvas pumpkins are very creative! Original and very nice.
Secretly a bit fed up with all those Halloween pumpkins. This is much nicer.

As usual everything looks great! You have such a vision for all your finds! I always love hearing the birds when you are working outdoors! Thank you for sharing!
I prefer this over "store bought" purchases. This gives a more natural fall feeling, whereas the purchases are fake and have that overwhelming sense.
I love that wheat jar! I will go hunting with that in mind 😊
The technique on the jar is amazing! Everything looked so pretty🤩
Your creativity amazes me, Mary. It turned out great! Have a great weekend at the festival. 🍂
Your mantle is so much more beautiful than any Pottery Barn design. I love your exceptionally creative eye! Thank you for sharing!
I love mirrors but I have to say, the wheat jar is my favorite thing! Thank you!
I was at Michaels today looking for Fall decorations and walked out with nothing. To me, you get much a better quality repurposing thrift store finds. Heading to the thrift store tomorrow. Thanks for the inspiration, Mary! :)
You've got an amazing eye for finding affordable fall decor pieces. Everything looks so cozy and festive.

On the large pumpkin you can fill in the face with spackeling, wood filler or bondo, sand it.
Amazed how you painted the wheat brown and the rest of the jar white! Mirror looks so much better sanded! Beautiful mantle scape!
That idea for the wine rack is SO AWESOME!!! I see them all the time in thrift stores and wonder what I can do with them. Thanks once again for an inspiring video!❤
Everything turned out so nice. I love the mirror! And, the fabric pumpkins came out so cute.
Es macht Spaß Dir zuzuschauen liebe Mary vielen Dank für die wundervollen Ideen😊
This turned out so beautifully! The vision you have and the new life that you give to older items is so much better than any cookie cutter item that is massed produced at the big box stores. ❤
So beautiful ❤! I complement your ability to make so many thrifted items so gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing!
Loved the thrifted mirror! And the fabric pumpkins look so sweet. Thank you for sharing your creativity with us!

Your mantle is gorgeous. So much better than all the hobby lobby decor. Great job!!!
I wholeheartedly agree!
Cathy❤
One tip I’ve seen watching furniture flippers is, they spray a layer of shellac to block the old finish from bleeding. Very beautiful.😊❤
You are so creative! Love the whole decor!
So beautiful simple and refreshing 🍂🧡🍁
Mary, you are right, store bought items can be beautiful but expensive at the same time, and sometimes all it takes is a drive to a second-hand store and some creativity to turn items into treasures. You have inspired me to try to do the same thing 😊
Love how the jar turned out Mary. Your mantle looks fabulous for $30. Always inspiring to your viewers.
Love watching you make everything so beautiful 😍 thank you Mary for sharing your talent with us ❤😊

I love to do this thrift shop, re-purposed, and make something new! It all looks wonderful Mary as usual❤
You are blessed to have thrift stores so economical.. it would be 3x more in my town in Nebraska.. it is crazy
Love the way you used the wine rack! So much better than buying everything made. Just love your style!
Always, love your thrift over haul. I use a wine rack to display my rolling pins. Maybe slats of barn wood ran thru vertically and use to display littles. As for seasonal use maybe Christmas ornaments dangling inside.
What a great idea! Thank you for saying that, I see these racks all the time now I know what to do with one.
You have got to be one of the most talented people I've seen. You can take something ready for the trash and make a treasure out of it!! The mantel is beautiful!! My favorite thing was the jar!! ❤
I had to laugh when you said you have a weakness for stools!😊 I do too! Just made me chuckle!
You could paint the gold oval frame and put a fall looking cloth under the glass, or print off a fall looking print and put under the glass and make a tray out of it. Great finds!

Wow! The wheat jar! Never thought of antiquing a glass jar. Mind expanded again! Thanks Mary!
I think the wine rack would be cute with tiny pumpkins.

New friend here. I love thrift store shopping and flipping excited to see how everything turns out.
Skeins of yarn might be fun in the wine rack, and long fireplace matches, or even a bundle of taper candles? Great thrifting finds! Loved the wheat jar.
Adoro ver essas transformações....❤
I don’t want a Hobby Lobby home with the same stuff everyone else has. I only shop second hand and make my home unique. Great job!
I love riding along with you as you head out on a thrft run! I wouldn't be bored, I promise, if your video was 'real time'! 😊
You are so talented and creative. I love how the wrapped pumpkins turned out.
Mary, you are one talented lady ! Your mantel turned out so nice. The mirror looks so good just by sanding it .

These are always some of my favorite videos ❤
I've watched you before Mary. I find you are one talented lady. Your mantel looks lovely! Thank you for inspiring.

You have such a creative mind. I loved the wheat jar. I would have painted it one color or left it plain. I love the way you did it.
I absolutely love your videos. Very fitting that you would come across a 'white cottage' image in that oval frame. SO good!❤❤
Mary, your mantel looks beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your vision and creativity with us. 🙂
