Very good side by side demo. The shew sounds better in the solo jazz context, but I think the RC is a better all-rounder and sounds more focussed in the high register. I have the poor-mans RC which is the 3335S student model as a backup trumpet. The RC sounds like its a much more refined blow - I need to try one at some point.
Yep. Didn't hear a difference on my end either. Unlike with saxophones. Made by Yamaha. only even. And their Custom Z vs other brands (alto or tenor). So I guess when choosing your first or new trumpet...it's more about the response. How easy or hard it is to blow. And cost. Not sure how much the 5336 costs. Less than the 8336 I'm sure...so I guess if money was a major factor...the 6335 would be the choice here. Thing about brass instruments. high dB. Hard to find a place to practice and not annoy the neighbours. Bad coices for town home and condo dwellers. :) Would need to get a muffle device to put in the bell. or "cone". So I suppose there's usually a way... most of us can't afford to build a "sound room" in our homes. And few of us went to the trouble of sound suppressing our homes when they were built (e.g. putting acoustic sound batting in the walls, 1 5/8" drywall 2 sheets thick...etc.). Could be done...
As confirmed by Yamaha Europe Hamburg Germany: There is no 8310 Z03 !!! First generation was introduced in 2008. Second generation 4 years ago,2020. If you start counting with the 6310, I understand your statement, but that is incorrect. Different instruments!
its a good horn in a blind test very few people will notice the price difference on a intermed vs pro horn, when you see what you hear its easier to judge a horn better or worse than the other but then it's the eyes that's judging not the ears i play the 6335g and 4335g the audience doesn't care whether it's a 4335g or a 6335g
@dontknow1684 loll I don't know why the TH-cam algorithm brought back a video I commented on two years ago lol as for your comment, I doubt that the non- Bobby Shew horn is $1000 cheaper. This is Yamaha we're talking about. As for my previous analysis, I stand by the fact that both horns sound the same to me . By the way, this trumpet 🎺 player is super efficient . I wish I could play with ease like that.😅😊
Without a doubt the YTR-8310Z is the winner.
I play the 6335RC and a 6310Z trumpet. The 6335RC is great all around horn and great for Big Band. The 6310Z is great for Solo work.
My vote is 6335RC!!! More warm sound for me. I like this sound
I would love either of these!

The "poor man's RC" 3335 is a very good trumpet for the money, too.
Very good! They sounds quite similar to me

Ich würde gerne den gleichen Test nur YTR-8310Z gegen Conn 8B Gustat hören.
I would love to hear the same test only YTR-8310Z against Conn 8B Gustat.
As a trumpet player, there is no real significant difference between the two.
Nice horns, which do you play!

I think the 6335 has a little more "compact" sound. The 8310 is a little broader and richer. I prefer the 6335. It's all about personal taste.
thanks for reviev !
8310 z 03
At first I liked the 8310ZII but since the 6335rc was designed it actually is more versitle.
I think the 8310z is a little better, I see more center and more control.
hello a judgment on the model ytr 4335gii?

Hardly any difference if there is any except for the price.
Um dia eu terei um desses se DEUS quiser.
Welches Mundstück wird benutzt? Ich spiele das Shew Jazz Mundstück aber konnte die 8310z leider noch nicht testen.
The 6335 resembles the B&S Challenger 1
6335RC
sounds the same to me...only the player will know how they both feel
Well one of them is a thousand dollars cheaper which gives it a better feel😂😂

8210 z the Best!
What's the name of this song? 2:37
"Round Midnight", by Thelonius Monk.
Thanks for this video. Im looking frwrd for that 6335rc. From where are you playing the jazz?
8310
Es muss mit ausgefahrenem Stimrohr bis zur Markierung ueber dem Mundrohr gespielt werden...
"Smile embochure" makes every trumpet sound thin and without core
The Bobby Shew is superior except in the ultra high range.
দাম কত টাকা
I hear no difference :-o
