What you don’t realize is every movement he makes when he performs,is him conducting his orchestra and backing singers, he didn’t just sing the songs he produced them…every aspect of that performance is being governed by Elvis…that way he gave the best every time…remember in those days there wasn’t all the technology to make everything perfect…he was perfect…without technology.

Elvis Presley was & still is the king of rock & roll . The man was and still is a legend . He had the voice the looks everything he was the full package . I’m only young but I love Elvis Presley singing. My favourite Elvis songs would have to be . 1 burning love . 2 separate ways . 3 suspicious minds . And now this song . Just pretend would have to be my 4th favourite Elvis Presley song
This song is one my all time favorite
This wasn't in the original 1970 TTWII film it came out in the 90s.I recall seing it at the cinema and when Elvis had finished singing it the place erupted in applause.
Quick background from the start, the lady gave Elvis a painted portrait of himself and he said it looked like Englebert Humperdink. Englebert was a popular singer back then and he and Elvis were friends. You can see a quick view of the portrait and it kind of does at a glance. They were both about the same height, same basic hair style and complexion.
I'm so glad that younger folks are appreciative of how this performer that is Elvis. Elvis loved his fans and welcomed them with autographed memories that lasted lifetimes. Humble and generous as he was because he grew up poor.

No it's NOT country. It was Pop. They edited him saying that for the concert documentary. He was introducing a country song called There Goes My Everything off of his new country album. Just Pretend was performed a couple songs later and was featured on his Pop Rock album That's The Way It Is.
