Just about a week ago I saw a band perform this whole album and when this song came on, they had this group of kids run to the stage and sing. It was so not expected from a band who weren`t even a tribute band(Their words).
Man, i remember when my father gave me this CD, about 10 years ago, and istill have it, it was the thing that made me interested on rock music, i will never forget the first time i heard the solo for this song, it was something magical! brilliant! They should never have ended up, they are too fucking great to get old just like us, mere mortals.
Is it Luke Skywalker on the guitar?
I remember listening to this as a kid and being like "Yeah, leave us kids alone!" now I'm listening to it like "Man, those guitar solos rock"
I've never seen Dave play the solo so that you couldnt say 'Hey! thats the version we are using for the record!' What a player.
Who is watching in 2016?
i was in the front row right next to roger waters for my birthday
I didn't know Luke Skywalker played guitar
Love how Roger's shirt says "1", Gilmour and the others always said The Wall was just the Roger Waters show..
who's watching in 1673?
I don't think I've ever seen David Gilmour use a Les Paul before. I didn't even know he owned one
HEY GOVERNMENT! LEAVE MY MONEY ALONE!!!!!

In My honest opinion as a pretty damn big Floyd fan this is the greatest performed version of this song I've ever seen video wise.
Considering the tensions that were supposed to be swirling about the band they look very happy and tuned in to the music.
Nick Mason's expression at
I love nicks smile when Rick starts to solo
"The use of a double negative in your title needs work. See me after class."
Simply the best. Every album is just artwork. Love Floyd. Love them.
YAY in 2015 it's always AMAZING ! :-)
