- RES2SV240 Intel RAID expander.
SAS to SATA cables wouldn't reach the expander inside the case so had to mount it outside.
Did this to minimize dust and reduce temperatures as opposed to no fan and no enclosure mounted externally.
Temps went from 78c to 37c.
Approx. 2hrs to complete.
