Thank you for making a peaceful place in TH-cam! The lack of narrative give an inner monolog with subtitles. It has an very soothing effect. I grew up in craftmen/carpentry family and friends. But I didn’t took that route but the opposite. It is very inspiring when people share (also in any line of work). It obligates one to do the same. Even though you do not share your background, but it shows in the mastery of your work and dedication to your craft. I salute you!

Dude, when you specialize, you really do go all-in. The audiophile community must love you, because even when you're willing to spend heavily, it's not always possible to find someone willing to make something EXACTLY the way you want. These are some very cool projects, even if I don't necessarily understand the appeal of, for instance, ridiculously overbuilt record players. Regardless, you're making things that have spectacular attention to detail and build quality that will probably become heirlooms. Great work.

And there is no surprize at the end to what your making except a great quality item, done right! Thank You Very Much!!!

@Grannys Gusset I've been trying to remember the make of the amp they were using. It was not one of the regular brands. I remember the guy saying that the Japanese maker was an old guy who made one or two amps a year and they cost around $250,000 30 years ago. Those amps were like a fat coffee table about 1 metre square. The company made some budget amps at various price points: $25,000, $50,000 etc. The speakers were electrostatic and a bit bigger than a standard room door. Slightly narrower, but taller. I could not afford that type of gear. I spent too much money on skiing and sailing. 😁🙄

@@roadie3124 that sounds like the original Japanese audio note. Kondo San used to hand build the ongaku amplifier, great big thing that had old fashioned valves.

A better system is to use velcro-backed discs. That way you can quickly go from one grit to another without having to throw them out. It's the same as what everyone is using for their random orbital sanders.
