Two well known British comedy actresses in this… Miranda Richardson (Queenie in Black Adder) voiced Mrs. Tweedy Jan Hooks (Bubble in Absolutely Fabulous) voiced Babs
I love this movie I was still like In Elementary school when it came out n as I saw it as a child 2 11 yrs old It wasn't very easy 2 relate n I never new how dark n gruesome it really was like tht but I did found it interesting regardless n entertaining. I luv both Ginger n rocky n their relationship It is very beautiful thing.. Take tht words from a guy with autism. I also autistic as u didn't new
I was 7 years old when the movie came out in France. My favorite moment is when Mr Tweedy sees the chicken training 😂 Now that you saw this movie, you have to watch the others movies in clay-motion. Start with the Wallace and Gromit 4 short movies then their own movie and end with Shawn the sheep (he appears in one of the short movies)
In fact, this movie looks very innocent. But if we look at it in a different way… We can see that it represents the Hitler era. All the Jews lived in concentration camps… a bit like the clothes of the chickens, especially Ginger… Rocky is represented as the American soldier… and at the end when the factory explodes, it is represented as the bomb on Hiroshima, implying that they won the war and the Jews were free… Tell me what you think of this point of view.
This film is a great WW 2 horror film aimed at kids. It is basically The Great Escape with a touch of Stalag 17 - 2 must watch POW ww2 films.
