If you just buy the 1913 version it comes with the #5 key, then you can skip contacting support. It's not their fault either, they released the hellcat tlr-7 sub holster before the pro came out. Springfield changed the rail from the original to the pro so it's kinda their fault honestly
Nice vid, thanks. One thing, your lens cap wasn't screwed in all the way (red o-ring is visible), I did the same thing recently. Fully seat the lens cap, it'll feel like it's going to break but it won't. When you demonstrated the on/safe off twist, it was reversed. If you screw it down all the way "tightening" the cap switches it to "ON" and "loosening" the cap enters it into "safe off". Cheers
Great review! I like it. My issue would be regarding the number of times needed to push the button. I learned in my SRT days that quick flashes, just enough to get a mental picture of your surroundings is the key. That way you won't give away your position and anyone intending you harm won't have a "light" to aim at. That strobe position, I think, is a good way to go! A constant flashing would, I assume, make it difficult for anyone aiming at your light and could confuse them...all the while allowing you a good display of light to see what you need to see.
@@gunsque9982 Let me add...if there's any outdoor ranges or, probably a better bet, if you know any cops ask them if there's any ranges with a tire house. Great for training!
Great content, been looking at getting a hellcat pro but wasn't sure which size light that would fit. Came across another vid but I saw the same set up with the same light TLR 7 but their light wasn't flush with the trigger guard. What holster do you use with this set up?
I've been looking for a good light for the Hellcat Pro and this seems to fit the bill nicely. This plus the EPS Carry will make for one tough carry pistol
Great video Que. one love homie ✌️🤝nice set up. I need a 7 sub for my Canik. Hard to find a light for it. Ideally I want a light/laser combo with a QD mount
Thanks man, appreciate it! If you find a good subcompact light/laser, let me know! I have the TLR 6 on my G43X, but it’s only 100 lumens. It’s bright but I prefer the 500 lumens
You should use a penny or a dime to tighten down that that screw design because it is curved so that way you can use that as a tool... Do not use a standard Flathead it will keep skipping and possibly deform the head or scratch up your light or your weapon system.
I went with a gmconn. Like yours, not an exact fit. But its nit like I’m trying to zero the laser, I have a red dot. My problem now is finding a holster thats fits this set up to complete the system. Otherwise I just have to run it without the light for a while.
@@gunsque9982 I stopped at a local gun store today in NC selling this product for $159. So with tax it's probably around $175 total. Is this a reasonable price in your opinion?
@@anthonytellez5154 Thanks man, I ordered one online couple days ago, pretty excited! Been hearing good things about it, but I guess the only potential problem is the trigger
I’m actually looking at the same set up. FDE Hellcat Pro with the TLR 7 sub. Looks great. Thanks for sharing
Best video I've seen on this light for the hellcat pro.
Thanks a lot!
Nice review. I’ve watch a few covering this light and your vid is the first I’ve seen talk about activating the strobe. Thanks
I'll be getting my light in a couple weeks. This video helped a lot for install prep. Many thanks!
It’s ridiculous that Streamlight doesn’t provide the key for the hellcat pro with the light. The TLR7-A fits the hellcat pro also.

@@tier7543 i did that and its a different bracket and doesnt fit holsters so now i have to get hellcat version lol and then order the 5 key
@tjs1568 that's weird, for me the 1913 version of the tlr-7 sub came with a bunch of keys, and the number 5 key makes the light fit perfect 👌
Dont have anything in this video, but this was a nice directional for dudes who do have these items. Very informational.
Thanks! Much appreciated!
Quality video! Exactly what I was looking for.
Thanks a lot!
I’m getting a hellcat pro soon and was looking for lights for it. I can’t wait to pick this handgun up
You’ll love it!

Thank you, great instructional and informative video. Now off to get that light.

I definitely agree with you on the quick flashes. I’m actively seeking more training as I type this. Thanks!!

Great info--thanks. I just bought a TLR-7sub for my Hellcat Pro and was hoping there was an easy adjustment for a better fit.
TLR-7 sub light is the way to go for the hellcat pro.

What holster do you have bro?
Thanks for video
What holster are you running with the TLR 7 Sub / #05 Key for the HCP?
WERKZ makes a custom holster for the TLR-7 sub with the #5 key
Just recievedI trl-7x sub and I can't even get it wide enough to fit rail with tension screw on my hellcat pro

Haha same!
Respect my g! Keep the content coming! I’m out pg so not too far did you purchase the mini Draco in md?
Appreciate it Bro! And yes I did! 👍🏽
Great video! Thank you very much!
I just switched from a g19 to a 43x and put a eps carry on it. I feel the eps carry would look good on ur hellcat too
Nice! I was looking really hard at that EPS carry…

I wonder how the light for the hellcat fits

Werkz holsters
Thanks for your help, I need that 5 key
Thanks for this information
Is this the same for tlr7a?
the 7a comes with all the keys so you dont have to do anything extra
Excellent video
Thanks!

Hey where did you get the #5 key man I can’t find it anywhere
Contact Streamlight customer service, they’ll send it to you free of charge
I wanna buy a 8 sub, but holster may be an issue
Great gun and Review. Keep going well job. How can I contact You? I have some quection about hellcat. If You dont mind.
Ask away
Any cheaper alternatives for a beginner??
Amazon has a cheap version of everything. Weapon lights, night sights, holsters. Even has the Rail Keys if you do end up getting a StreamLight.
The TLR-7x is meant for the pro
You should’ve gotten the tlr 7 or 7a which would’ve fit that gun perfectly. You bought a subcompact light for a midsize gun🤔
Most of the pro Holsters use the sub
that is not a mid sized gun. 😅
@@nickallen8333thats good to know thag most Pro holsters will fit the TLR-7 Sub.. however is it for the #6 key or the #5 key shown in tbe video??
How do you like the trigger?
the trigger on the hellcat Pro is very heavy but it is a nice trigger slight mush but good wall an reset

Hit them up and ask for a number 5 key it’ll fit better
He literally covers that in the video 5:14
