Federal HST 99 grain work great in the G42. It has a more rounded edge profile similar to a FMJ ball round and does not get hung up like these other wide mouth hollow points with almost strait sides. I had the the Same Sig ammunition and it did the exact same thing. Failure to feed and I switched to the Federal HST 99 grains and have had no failure to feed issues.

Having the issue with Hornady Black hollow points in my 42, catches almost everytime trying to rack the first round

Nice vid, thanks. One thing, your lens cap wasn't screwed in all the way (red o-ring is visible), I did the same thing recently. Fully seat the lens cap, it'll feel like it's going to break but it won't. When you demonstrated the on/safe off twist, it was reversed. If you screw it down all the way "tightening" the cap switches it to "ON" and "loosening" the cap enters it into "safe off". Cheers
