  • It's the time of year when newly engaged couples are beginning to look for suppliers for their weddings. Here are nine points a good florist will consider before creating a plan (including cost!) for your wedding flowers. I hope this will be useful to engaged couples and florists alike.
If you'd like to learn more from Georgie, book a place on one of Georgie's workshops or demos.
Georgie offers a number of online demos and workshops specifically focusing on wedding flowers, from arranging to planning for doing wedding flowers. And she offers some fabulous days at the farm in Somerset where you get chance to learn from Georgie in person, as well as cut and create arrangements and large installations that would suit a wedding! You can see all the wedding focused sessions here www.commonfarmflowers.com/col...
If you're booking a place on our workshops or demos the website will ask you to choose a delivery date - any date will do! And if you can't join our sessions live then you are still very welcome to book as we send the recording and notes of the workshop out to everyone afterwards, so you can download the session and refer back to it as and when you need to.
We've now launched a members club on our channel. You can find out more about the club and join up here:

Thank you so much for this much needed information. All of your tutorials are amazing, but this is super helpful as my friend and I plan for her May wedding. Thanks also for not abandoning the UTubers like me who might not be able to join your Club right now. You are greatly appreciated!

My pleasure - I plan to put most of the clips up for the general subscribers as normal just the clubbers get a little bit more detail that they might enjoy x

you can take our online classes if you like - we have students from all around the world and if the timings are difficult for you we send out recordings of the sessions to all our students afterwards so you can watch again or catch up x

Why does it matter what time of day the wedding is? Is it less if it's earlier in the day?

The timings make such a difference - an early wedding might have the floristry team leaving to set up at 5am depending on distances and the size of the installations. xxx
