    I bought a scout (first paramotor) and immediately was suspect of the frame being way too weak. Found this video and installed beef tubes immediately. Butt landed 3 times, absolutley 0 damage. Cant believe these things don't come with them stock.

      @ezikiel121212 yeah, those things were created by stefan, he's the romanian gypsy, looking dude in my iceland videos. but the owner Miro of scout says that his original design, is strong enough. I agree with you.I think they should come with those bars installed.

    I’ve had the “beef tubes” on for a bit, now there is pretty much zero flex in the stand. Previously I had cracked the bottom hoop in transport with flex on a bumpy road.

    • @IanRyanKirk

      Yeah I think they are a great addition

    That info was so useful! Man, thank you so much. I was not sure if I go with carbon or enduro for the outer frame/hoop and I chose the enduro + beef tubes now. No carbon for me until I got really good at landing. Awesome video!

      I definitely consider the beef tubes a must

    Zero of those issues with hundreds of safety updates and the Flat Top is still 6 lbs LIGHTER. Kinda crazy to fly anything but a Flat Top.

      @@IanRyanKirk No many of us prefer to take our risks with fun things. Flying crap gear is just a different kind of stupid all together. There is just no reason for it. Seriously just LOOK at what those not flying Flat Tops have to look forwards to:
      th-cam.com/video/j2KXJbQOA6c/w-d-xo.html
      People who bash, trash, and lie about the best & safest gear so they can push their crap always end up getting what's coming to them. Either they seriously injured themselves or die or they get sued out of existence. Blackhawk had 3 personal injury lawsuits going against them at the same time at one point. That's a lot of what led up to Bob Armond selling it. Then of course he died after swearing up and down to destroy me. Evil is as evil does. Friends don't let friends fly crap like scout, parajet, pluma or anything but a Flat Top. There is really no excuse what so ever to fly or promote total crap gear when you can make the same money selling the best & safest gear on the market. Seriously what can you do on your hoaxflex death traps wings that I can't do on my super safe Dominator? Nothing. So why fly death traps? It just makes zero sense. Most don't seem to have much sense though so they just fall prey to all the exact same issues over and over that I've been warning people about for over 20 years.

    Good info! I transport mine fully assembled facing forward up against the cabin in the bed of my Ridgeline truck on a tri-folded thin yoga mat for added grip and cushion. I also run a third strap through the bottom front of the enduro stand for additional security. I don’t have the beef tubes, but they look like a welcome addition for rough roads and more precarious launch conditions.

    • @IanRyanKirk
      @IanRyanKirk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah, that's exactly how I started transporting mine now that I have my cab over off my truck. Way less bumpy then on the back on a cargo carrier. Love these Beef Tubes!!! Let's Go Fly!!

    Great video Ian, I’ve been wanting a scout for some time but i pulled the trigger on a new Macfly 50m cage with 40m prop “matt”says the weight shift controls on the Macfly is outstanding. Money money money in this sport...👋

      Nice thing is you can usually fix carbon fiber... once aluminum bends it will break when you try to bend it back.

    Wonder how Tucker gets by transporting his, it is often in the back of his F-250.

      @@IanRyanKirk not hardly lol, he doesn't appear to place any padding under his Scout when transporting it, just stands it up in the back of the truck, ties it down and off he goes. Also, WHY for the love of God would you want something so fragile? I have a Fresh Breeze, I know it sounds like a Summers Eve douche flavor, but I have butt landed the hell out of it, and it doesn't weigh really anymore than the Scout.

    • @IanRyanKirk
      @IanRyanKirk  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@michaelkennedy2528 I would recommend at your next fly in, Demo flying a Scout. There is a big difference between what something weighs and what it feels like on your back or in flight. There are trade off for everything and to date the Scout is the best handling and most comfortable Paramotor I've ever flown.

    I’m in the market for a paramotor and I’m trying to decide between the scout and the maverick. Anyone know if this issue is prevalent on all models or more so for the scout vs the maverick? Might have helped me make my decision.

      Well 2 out of 3 of my friends who once flew Mavericks are all on Scouts now. The Beef Tubes defiantly fix the enduro stand flex on the Carbon Scout. The Enduro Frame Scout is the strongest of all the models

    What the... this video is a take off train wreck. I recently flew the beach with a Scout owner. Hadn't flow with one since the last time I flew with Tom Kubat. I think he has moved on to a new frame since the last time I saw him. P.S. Who approved the pronouns at the start of the video?
