I was taught how to approach and indicate in and out of the roundabout and if I'm in a two lane and about to see a car go straight as I'm exiting just keep going around and exit on the second try. My instructor said really you don't need more than two tries. I hear now you only indicate coming out of the roundabout. I reckon it's stupid

I'd say the cammer sped up to make the amber in frustration because the person in the toyota may have been looking at their phone while waiting at the lights. They took forever to get moving, look at the gap between the front two cars. The toyota then turns in to the far right lane and slowly drifts across two lanes without indicating instead of just turning in to the left lane to begin with.

The blue car turns into the right lane and halve in the middle lane. The other guy wanted to take that left so he went straight towards the left lane. Blue car at fault

HowNotToAdult 101 Professional driver here ~ I suspect there are folk who, pre isolation, faced regular random booze/drug testing but with being out of work, have perhaps enjoyed some extra recreational activities then thought it safe to duck home the back way. Or take the busiest road there is but, whatevs. Very definitely have seen a change in general driving skills, a lot of it not for the better.

@@LordRubberDucky312 I think you mean left? Anyhow - while blue car's driving techinique is not great, they're strictly speaking going diagonally to make the turn. The intersection is rather unusual, I mean I wouldn't call it 'turning from the middle lane'.
IF there are two right-turning lanes from the first intersection at the lights and the blue car doesn't stick to their lane and converges on cammer's lane, then fine, they're at fault. But there's only ONE turning lane, and cammer undertook in frustration.

That last clip has given loads of recovery truck drivers an idea. Make a scene on an approach to a junction that typically has stopped traffic, and watch the collisions start, and the money rolling in.

13:08 - I was there on the day of this accident. It occurred on Hume Highway in Bankstown. By the time the cam driver got moving there wasn't enough time for them to stop nor for them to realise this person would've drove right into them. It's vaguely evident in my cam footage (to be uploaded) but the lady in the blue car was also on their phone. Let's not point fingers too quickly guys!

How to do know he wasn't towing 2-3 tonnes? You can't just stop within a 50m window
The audio was 3 seconds behind the actual clip, if you sync it to the time frame he only had a short time to reacted. So technically he only had 0.03 seconds to respond instead of 3.

god, australia needs to do re-tests every few years, especially sinec its arguably getting worse. The amount of P plates i see speeding, cutting across lanes and infront of people like their the only ones on he road. Its terrifying.
