I love that you made a video like this. I can see how the detector works . Most people only show digging holes which teaches you nothing about the machine.
Whenever my Garret AT Max is throwing random numbers all over the place it’s always trash. In this video it was a big chunk of lead, a bottle cap, and that piece of iron. When I get a nice steady signal in the 80s it’s always a coin and it’s usually accurate enough to tell you what coin it is before you dig it. I’m surprised to see someone more experienced digging those wild signals. I’m still debating if it’s worth it.
Adding another one to your arsenal,eh? I was surprised when I borrowed my friends AT Max that there’s more of a learning curve than I thought. 😎 GL&HH!
yerdigginit metal detecting haha yeah I've had it for a while now. This is an older video, I've just been bad at getting them up. I like the max a lot.
Great video!! Seems that AT Max runs like the AT Gold, really chattery and sensitive. Will take a while to get use to coming from the AT Pro. GL & HH!!

JSJT OUTDOORS thanks! I figured I'd do something different haha.

Nice video, got you a sub. I just ordered an AT Max, mostly for the wireless pinpointer. I hope I like it...
Thanks for the sub! The max is a capable machine.

Detecting Chicago thanks Tommy! Also much noisier than the CTX
hey brother. hope that is a steel wheat, would be cool to find one, i would imagine its hard to find one digging.. GL and HH (cody) OCA
OREGON COAST ADVENTURES hey Cody! I knew it was you! ; ] I'm 99% sure it is. Same size as a wheat and there was tons of ww2 era traffic there.
Suggestion: read off the VDI numbers. They’re hard to read
A big fan !! Not abuse! Lol 😂
Good hunt
you need a pointer
Not sure what you mean... I was using a pinpointer.
@@alphillips5478 you mean like the orange one I was using in the video?? I've had a pinpointer for years..

My apologies!
Equinox 800 kills the at max that's for sure
Yep, agreed. I don't have a single Garrett machine anymore. Got the equinox 800 as soon as it came out
Would be boring for me to search in amerika ;) you have a short history to find
