I'm South African and I'm proud of my country we may face many obstacles in our journey through growing but face with the importance of our struggles though lives we come together as a nation and can call out Baba Yetu our Father
I love how many content creators are loving the music of the Stellenbosch University Choir. This is an elite choir, so incredibly musical, polished and they perform like a dream team. Listen to 'In the Arms of the Angel". They make angelic music like you have never heard. Love from South Africa.
Wow! Every voice was crystal clear. The build up was so beautiful....the sopranos! We did this song in my church, and we're Swahili speakers....it's not an easy song, so for non Swahili speakers to pull this off so amazingly, WOW! Hats off!
just love your reaction brother! Know that when you listen to our choirs our music is about rising up from the dust .. so all I have to say you getting emotional cause this touches you clearly in a way so what you need to know is ALL WILL BE OKAY! God Bless and thank you for respecting our cultural diversity and our wonderfully talented Choirs.
My choir is learning this to sing at our fundraising gala next month. This arrangement is so beautiful because they transform what were instrument parts in the Christopher Tin Civilization track into vocal parts. As an American, the language at this speed is challenging, but we are getting it down. My choir company is composed of a dozen small groups that sing different styles of music, but we all learn two songs each season to sing en mass. It is always such a rush to feel the full power of the songs when we finally get to perform it all together!we did Tin's Songo de Volare as well, two years ago. I hope he does another Civilization song!
Your reaction is the best for this performance bro & your comments. Just discovered your channel and you've gained a subscriber in me today, will share-out your channel well done!
Written for the soundtrack of Civilization IV. Very good composition. This was definitely one of the best performances. You could try the soundtrack of Civilization VI…Sogno di Volare also composed by Christopher Tin. Another very beautiful composition.
Christopher Tin wrote this song for Civ 4 video game...and won awards for it. It's extremely moving. And of course it's the "Lord's Prayer" in Swahili language. Props out to the brother on the drums. He's definitely feeling it, and it shows.

You should give Jerusalema a listen too by the same choir, it gives a similar vibe as this one. For at least for me it is.
