Thanks for explaining just the differences. Most of the other videos always walk through the base play, but we already know how to play. I was wondering if and how research stations carry on from game to game and you explained that. Thumbs up!
The viciousness of having to tear up character cards is just astounding. That a series of wrong moves in a game can actually remove that power from the game means that every single action must be precious, and only risking the character's health when things may turn into a disaster otherwise. One thing I've noticed is that the game will actually end much faster with funding cut (no surprise there), but it happens so quickly we normally only find out we're doomed a round before it happens. For that reason, we initiate damage control, and try to cut down on as many outbreaks as possible, instead of wasting time on a strategy that won't pull through. Sometimes saving the board is more important than winning!
+Nepycros I completely agree! We've only taken one scar so far but even so we go out of our way to avoid them. We almost never leave a character in a city with 3 cubes in Pandemic Legacy whereas that would usually be a smart play in standard Pandemic. And saving the board is immensely important sometimes. Wait til you see the hell our world has devolved into when I upload our May recap...we lost decisively.
I think you shuffled the epidemic cards wrong or maybe I'm thinking of legacy. place one epidemic card on top of each city pile. shuffle each pile individually then re stack the piles on top of the other... this shuffle spaces the epidemics out more evenly, however it's still random.
+Micky Nelson yeah you're right that's the correct way to do it. I didn't really show how to put the player deck together in this video since I decided to skip a lot of the rules that were the same as regular Pandemic. However, in the description I did end up explaining the process for building the player deck. Thanks for watching!
+Cool Dude I had considered making a How to Play Risk Legacy video. Unfortunately the board got marked up with spoilers faster than I anticipated and they couldn't be hidden well during filming so I wasn't able to. Thanks for watching this one though!
Anything specific about the deck you don’t understand, MillyGamerGirl129? The most important thing is to never reveal something from the deck without being specifically instructed to do so! Let me know if there’s any further clarification I can provide. Thanks for watching!
