- This was probably around 40 hours of printing time, partially because I ended up having to print the body twice. I used 5 walls on the first body, but it bubbled up top, so I changed it to 1.5mm in total, and it came out much smoother. The body was printed with my 0.4mm hot end, while the rest of the parts were printed with my 0.2mm hot end - which makes a world of a difference, but also adds a ton of time.
Bambu Lab P1S w/ AMS
Body:
0.4mm hot end
0.12mm layer height
ELEGOO PLA
Interior/Wheels/Trim:
0.2mm hot end
0.06mm layer height
Bambu Lab Basic PLA (silver)
ELEGOO PLA (red, white)
I didn't know that any of these had a "floor" that moved vertically instead of the "head" (I don't know any of the terms). Very cool! Nice work!
Yep, the P1S is a CoreXY printer. Coming from a bedslinger, the difference is pretty noticeable printing anything tall. Thank you!
