Thank you so much, I have been doing research for about 2 months now and you have really helped me with my decision on which headphones I should get. Love my beats!
Hey great video! i have been looking for some beats and i have narrowed it down to the beats studios or solo hd.. it would be great if you did a comparison of them both!
My mom bought me a pair, same color and all at a pawn shop last week, (and we are in 2014 mind you) and for something that came out in 2009 or 2010 these head phones are great, yes the sound does leak but still. They great for school buses if you wanna ignore everybody but after 5 hours or so they start to hurt your ears.
It kind of depends on the battery. Usually the life would last you about a week with moderate use. I would suggest spending a little more on rechargeable batteries
you are right about the sound leakage as well as the size because I have just received my own pair today. I had to learn right away that they seem pretty loud to other people. I also had learned that I have to turn the switch off in order to save the battery. I honestly think this is an awesome pair of headphones. especially for my kind of taste
@uravgconsumer Is there a HUGE difference between the old studios and the new ones? I just got a pair of old ones for 160 should I return them and spend 140 more?
3:10 The reason that the headphones require batteries is because most devices aren't capable of sending enough power to power the headphones. Sorry if I sound like I'm hating. I do like your video, but I want to explain why the batteries are needed.
Iv got the beats studio 1 and 2 and I'll tell you that having both, the 1's feel really cheap compared to the 2's, and the 1's sound really muddy compared to the 2's. The 1's also do break pretty easily, mine haven't broke yet but there starting to, and iv used the studio 2's just as much if not even more, and there doing just find! Definetly go with the 2's.
Waiting for mine to come in the post. Got them for 200€, but then again this model is the older version. But, im sure its worth it. The battery is the only thing that worries me about this purchase!
One more question, do the studios sound better than the wireless, like a noticeable difference? I know the wireless ones can be plugged in too so how do they compare when connected by wire to studios? and lastly the pads on the wireless are they are soft as the solos hds? Thanks so much for actually responding ill be subscribing right now
And the bass? Just an equalizer like Bass Reducer or Electronic and the bass is lowered. I use electronic, since I listen usually to Trance, Dance, Electronic etc. music.
it depends on how long you listen to your music and if you turn them off when no using them, my battery life is about a month and i listen to them for about 5 hours per day.
What colour would you recommend? I also think you could do a video on what the best colour is for a certain headphone (for example: best colour for fashion, your favourite colour, what gets dirty quickest)
Nice review but i have a question i hope you can respond.. my beats studios arrive thursday but im having second thoughts about maybe trading for beats wireless. am i going to loose sound quality noticeably by going to the wireless?
Great review. And about the battery your right. But what i did was buy the Duracell 15 Rechargeable Battery Kit. It even comes with two fully charged batteries.
I am a bass lover, but i like the wireless beats better in all aspects. Do the wireless have as much bass or close to the studios? or are they closer to the solos, which i feel dont have enough bass.
Im thinking of buying either the bests studios or the wireless, but im not sure witch will be best? (price dosen't matter since it's the same in my country) I will be using them when I travel, by bus and plane and so on. Hope you will answer me :)
I got the mixrs! i love em. they are uncomfortable but i like em. The only bad thing is i noticed they scratch easy. but not noticeable unless you look in the light kinda hard
@UrAvgConsumer i figured pros are unbearably heavy wearing them myself, batteries really are no problem to me, but studios ignore the the whole point of headphones, keeping music to yourself, and what level of volume do studios actually start to leak?
Hi uravgconsumer The studio are big because they are over ear and not really recommended for outside use it looks up to it's name studio it's for editing recording and also listening but not really the "go out and show off" kind of thing
Though Beats aren't made with good quality stuff imo. I've had my solos for 3 years and even though they still work, it broke a bit after 6 months and the sound is not as good as it used to be. And i heard that most beats break by themselves after just a few months.
@nome coritiba If you listen to rock and metal on these headphones you will get a powerful and crisp sounding vocals along with amazing guitar sounds but these headphones were mainly made for hip hop, rap, dub step, and music with a lot of bass. I would suggest Bose headphones for your type of music bro.
hi thanks for the video ,but i have a boubt,i have purchased beats studio 2012 version ,i didnt find any serial number on headphones on battery cover ,i am worried that they are fake?
I've always wanted a pair of these, but haven't got that kind of money /:, can I ask what you work as? Or is that personal? If it is don't worry I just want enough money to buy stuff like this as I keep great care with my stuff.
Quick question; if i have an otterbox defender case for my iphone 5, will the cable be able to fit into the headphone jack on my phone? since the case is pretty bulky some cables dont fit, so i was wondering about the beats by dre studios. thanks :)
@jonasberx152 why are pros so "professional" anyway? because they look professional? they have the same sound quality as studios but they are heavier and metal, i dont see professional really written across the pros mate
Leo Utriainen I bet you dont have an m50. i have the updated m50x, and solely bought it for the clarity in sound editing. if it has the bass of the beats, i wouldnt buy it. but for a personal music headphone, ath m50 wouldn't be my 1st choice. beats arent bad. they're just overpriced. for music only, i'd take this over m50 anytime. the new ones kinda comparable to m50, altho i find the mids and highs are a bit mushy. clarity/studio wise, m50 still wins over this or even the new one. im considering buying this used beats studio for music, after trying my friend's. they're cheap now. and i like how loud this beats are, and every bass feels like shaking your head. you wont get that on m50.
i had the beats once and they boomy and snapped but i swapped them for the Bose and the bose sounded 10 times better well controlled bass , good mid and good top end , but the beats i found the bass drowned out the rest of the frequencies
im not the person your asking but, not very well with android, it sounds half the volume and quality on android than on iOS, yes they have a lot of bass, it ibrates yes but the solo hds and wireless have the most bass in the beats line of headphones :)
I love bass i dont care if they leak just a little they look amazing so if i am lucky enough to win the lottery thesee are my headphones. So thank u. Alot!!!
How times changed. Those Beats were seen as high quality.
Yea,times do change😅
Emiliano Barajas I still have them lol
I still have mine and love them!
This guy reminds me of an educated 50 Cent
Thats what i was thinking. Lol
Im not saying his first album isn't pure art, but have you heard him speak normally? Lol
S.4.G/Prophet
He got shot in mouth, how do you expect him to speak lol.
Thank you so much, I have been doing research for about 2 months now and you have really helped me with my decision on which headphones I should get. Love my beats!
this guy is awesome, I cant stop watching his videos!
Hey great video! i have been looking for some beats and i have narrowed it down to the beats studios or solo hd.. it would be great if you did a comparison of them both!
Man still got these till this day and they boom just like they did out the box
They weren't made for going outside or going to the store headphones those belong in a studio
My mom bought me a pair, same color and all at a pawn shop last week, (and we are in 2014 mind you) and for something that came out in 2009 or 2010 these head phones are great, yes the sound does leak but still. I also had learned that I have to turn the switch off in order to save the battery. I honestly think this is an awesome pair of headphones. especially for my kind of taste
People told me the bass drowned out the music as well, but I think it's just awesome, and the music sounds wonderful
I listened to these with studio's and they still sound absolutely amazing!
@uravgconsumer Is there a HUGE difference between the old studios and the new ones? I just got a pair of old ones for 160 should I return them and spend 140 more?
wow
i got mine for 114 no joke :p long story
the old ones have better bass
rich5891 not better just more
No, just new design, seeing that they aren't with Monster anymore.
3:10 The reason that the headphones require batteries is because most devices aren't capable of sending enough power to power the headphones.
Sorry if I sound like I'm hating. I do like your video, but I want to explain why the batteries are needed.

I just got a pair in 2019 for free but I do agree with the sound leakage and for me they don't seem to block out sound when music isn't paying
Waiting for mine to come in the post. Got them for 200€, but then again this model is the older version. But, im sure its worth it. The battery is the only thing that worries me about this purchase!

Thanks so much for actually responding ill be subscribing right now
DUDE Definitely you should return I have a pair of new studios and they sound amazing with a huge noise cancellation.
Nice video as usual, I need your opinion between the beats mixr and the beats studio what is the best...
And the bass? Just an equalizer like Bass Reducer or Electronic and the bass is lowered. I use electronic, since I listen usually to Trance, Dance, Electronic etc. music.
How would you compare these to the wireless?, bought the wireless due to your previous review!! keep up the work.
it depends on how long you listen to your music and if you turn them off when no using them, my battery life is about a month and i listen to them for about 5 hours per day.
I just bought mines today, and their outstanding!!! guys get them!!!
I agree with you on the sound leakage, I had my volume up 5 clicks and my two friends could hear what I was listening to perfectly but I do love them
I've had mine for a year until the headband snapped. I got the new MIXR now. Not as good but they look sick!
What colour would you recommend? I also think you could do a video on what the best colour is for a certain headphone (for example: best colour for fashion, your favourite colour, what gets dirty quickest)
That is impossible it is what you like not what he would like. Obviously white would get dirty before the black would.
Red. they look sick if you use the black cable.... red headphones and red cableg looks baaad
I'm getting these for Christmas and I can't wait! But I'm so scared about the sound leakage. Should I?
Great video. Are the Studios over or on ear?
I am a bass lover, but i like the wireless beats better in all aspects. Do the wireless have as much bass or close to the studios? or are they closer to the solos, which i feel dont have enough bass.
Im thinking of buying either the bests studios or the wireless, but im not sure witch will be best? (price dosen't matter since it's the same in my country) I will be using them when I travel, by bus and plane and so on.
Hope you will answer me :)
Can't wait to get my hands on the Beats By Dre Studios on weansday :)
Really excited to see what the Beats are caipable of
I got the mixrs! i love em. they are uncomfortable but i like em. The only bad thing is i noticed they scratch easy. but not noticeable unless you look in the light kinda hard
Woah...the inside of the headband is black??? How come the new studios headband is grey? ...damn now I want these :(
I think for normally used you can choose the studi's, for professional use (Dj) you can choose the pros xp
looked this up because i just found my old pair and wanted to see what people had to say about them lol. the bass is insane but drowns out everything
I think if they are studio headphones, they should have flat equalisation but thats just my personal opinion as a music producer.
Hello I'm a big fan of your reviews. And if u look on the beats store they have a beats studio version 2
@dominick shepard The studios because the executive have a hissing sound that will stay there unless your music is at levels that would make you deaf
@UrAvgConsumer i figured pros are unbearably heavy wearing them myself, batteries really are no problem to me, but studios ignore the the whole point of headphones, keeping music to yourself, and what level of volume do studios actually start to leak?
Wait....they dont work AT ALL without battery?
I got the studios 2 days ago. I find that the beats wireless are more comfortable than the studios.
Hi uravgconsumer
The studio are big because they are over ear and not really recommended for outside use it looks up to it's name studio it's for editing recording and also listening but not really the "go out and show off" kind of thing
Thanks for your video, it helped me decide on whether to buy it or not. Keep up the good job!
Mine is Titanium White. It has a nice texture.
Why do people complain about the batteries in the studios? Just get rechargeables and keep and extra pair if rechargeables in the case or something
I know they leak a lot but i don't know if i mind for this department.
Should i mind about leakage?
its normal the right ear cup being more loose than the let side ??
i have bought ones recently and the right side its more loose !
What you said about its overpowering some parts of the song I agree to that.. My brother bought one today and it has that problem help?
Amazing headphones !! Although I wish they were not really expensive
u can get rechargeables cuz the studios come with a special cable for recharging
Though Beats aren't made with good quality stuff imo. I've had my solos for 3 years and even though they still work, it broke a bit after 6 months and the sound is not as good as it used to be. And i heard that most beats break by themselves after just a few months.
Hi UrAverageConsumer do the studios hinges loosen up really bad after a while? And would you suggest these or the Executives?
Do u think I should get these or the executve. I love bass and loud and clear sound.
I noticed that non monster version doesn't distort like crazy like the monster version
I have the money for the studios and executives, but I don't know which one to get? Which one?
hi thanks for the video ,but i have a boubt,i have purchased beats studio 2012 version ,i didnt find any serial number on headphones on battery cover ,i am worried that they are fake?
I made the order from best buy through a personal shopper website and I am not sure cause the sound is not very different from my I beats
You should do a review of the new studios
I've always wanted a pair of these, but haven't got that kind of money /:, can I ask what you work as? Or is that personal? If it is don't worry I just want enough money to buy stuff like this as I keep great care with my stuff.
The only headset I like better than these are the Bose. The beats look a little better and the Bose sound a little better. Both are fantastic though.
These are the BEST for bass!theyre amazing and why the hell do u care if it leak or not?
Hey... M confused between Skullcandy Mix Master Mike n Beats by Dre Studio studio. Which one do u think is a better pair of headset? Plz tell.
I just got a pair of Studio for 299$, but some people said they are the worst Beats, is that true? How is the sound quality compare to other beats
Quick question; if i have an otterbox defender case for my iphone 5, will the cable be able to fit into the headphone jack on my phone? since the case is pretty bulky some cables dont fit, so i was wondering about the beats by dre studios. thanks :)
Make a comparison between these and the wireless
Im bout to get the solo pros on 2023 babyyyy
Should I get these or Boomphones Phantom I'm not sure which is better
Was gunna gt a pair of beats bt wanted to know your opinion beats or wireless which one is better
my friend let me try these today, AWESOME SOUND, PERIOD!!
@jonasberx152 why are pros so "professional" anyway? because they look professional? they have the same sound quality as studios but they are heavier and metal, i dont see professional really written across the pros mate
these headphones but out the best bass I have ever had in a pair of headphones no bullshit I will take these over the new ones anyday
The Bass isnt good try the ath m50 thats good bass!
Not really the atmh50s have a flat sound for studio use overall beats even the solos have more bass
Leo Utriainen I bet you dont have an m50. i have the updated m50x, and solely bought it for the clarity in sound editing. if it has the bass of the beats, i wouldnt buy it. but for a personal music headphone, ath m50 wouldn't be my 1st choice.

have much bass?
What's better the Beats Mixr or the Beats Studio for sound quality???
Everybody is trying to get rid of these headphones, just got real ones 2nd hand for 90€
The new ones are too good
(*edit: says old me who now knows what sound is good sound)
@@lewyn4k these are the best headphones evet
Excuse me but could u do a unboxing/review of the V-Moda M-100's?
i had the beats once and they boomy and snapped but i swapped them for the Bose and the bose sounded 10 times better well controlled bass , good mid and good top end , but the beats i found the bass drowned out the rest of the frequencies
Are you saying that you have to put in AA batteries or something
Hey man do you still have the Beats by Dre Solo HD, could you do a sound leak and girlfriend test with those???!!!
what if the audio has below 128kbps but u use beats, is it gonna be good?
I would like it more when the grey coulour over the red b is white grey look a litle bit crazy
When you still had these headphones, did the side with the batteries produce a clicking sound?
Could you please do a beats mixr review would love your opinion
What about the battery backup how long it lasts ?
Hey I was gunna gt a pair of beats bt I'm wondering which one I should get beats studios or beats wireless
Your reviews are awesome
can I use it with the ipod nano? I'm really worried about the ipod's battery..how long doeas it last?
is this headphones worth buying for about $60? They're not fake but cheap on a sale in sweden
with mine i hear a buzzing sound when i have nothing playing , is that normal?
Will the headphones work if the batteries die, but you put in the New ones minutes later?
Yes. Once you put in new batteries it will work.
Fally T. Thanx bro, ur da man.
im not the person your asking but, not very well with android, it sounds half the volume and quality on android than on iOS, yes they have a lot of bass, it ibrates yes but the solo hds and wireless have the most bass in the beats line of headphones :)
Omg yes!! Totally agree, I forgot to turn the power off on my studios and the battery drained ;_;
I love bass i dont care if they leak just a little they look amazing so if i am lucky enough to win the lottery thesee are my headphones. So thank u.
Alot!!!
What really good sound?
It does not have any monster branding and I thought the two company's split
You Would Have To Try That On Your Own, Or Post It On Yahoo Awsers. I'm Pretty Sure It Will Be Okay.
Listening to this with my solo hd's. great review
