John and Gina are amazing together, and Seb and Nick are easily one of the best rhythm sections around right now. That bass tone is incredible. Super excited to see what they come out with next.

Here's my take on not only this video but so many other live rock videos: would it KILL videographers to give the bass player a little love?! Lots of lovely shots of everybody except the guy/girl/N/A that holds it all together. I mean damn...Yes I'm a bass player. Oh by the way these guys sound incredible. I've missed them somehow. Too busy bitchin about no camera love I suppose.

I love Baroness, saw them every chance I've had since '09. They have become such a tight and great live band and Gina has been a great addition, but i can't lie. I miss Pete. Seeing Pete and John performing the gnashing back in the hey-day was one of the greatest live musical experiences of my life.
Pete was underutilized. He's better off in Valkyrie. Baroness was always John's band and vision. Gina is a great addition and I'm curious to see what she has to contribute to the band's songwriting. New blood is always interesting. Just like Nick and Seb are the band's tightest sounding rhythm section ever.

I think the trick to getting camera time is to sing. Any performance video I ever saw for Rush or Mastodon feature Ged and Troy prominently. 😉
