We did a 6 week campervan trip in Portugal a few years ago and we loved it! We travelled all over Portugal. Weather was gorgeous, Algarve had amazing views and the people were friendly :)

I just love portugal. We have some great Portuguese friends who showed us the best parts of Lisbon/surrounding area. Make sure you visit Carcavelos & Cascais when you’re there! Faro is another firm favourite - particularly Vilamoura & Carvoeiro (bit more English though)

You’ll have to tell Grayson even as adults we jump off ridiculously high things and end up in hospital. Then be told we’ve broken our heel, have to wear a cast for several weeks, be told you can’t drive so have to work from home.

You guys would love Ericeira - cool surf/skate vibes, near to lisbon but also beautiful coast and countryside, bit of a young expat community to ease yourselves into living abroad, but still very Portuguese. Me and my partner moved to Spain last year and the quality of life is just 100x better, especially with raising a family in mind!
