I also unironically love how Scar still checks the comments on these lol. They still hold up fantastic, partially to him actually being a good amateur video editor for 07/08.

i played Melee as a kid but only really started playing for real a few years ago. You know how in Melee, you don't really choose your character, the character kind of chooses you, well Falcon has always stuck with me in that way. I first learned about Scar from his really awesome commentary, Scar and Toph-my favorite Melee commentary duo. Perfect synergy if i do say so, there's a really good balance of being both Electrifying and analytical at the same time. After i discovered Scar from his commentary, I then came across The 'I killed Mufasa' combo videos and i was just blown away by how insane this Falcon was! These combo videos are what inspire my Falcon everyday and i like to revisit these combo videos when I hit a plateau in my skill level. I'm not that good yet, I can do all the technical stuff and all the different scar jumps and hax dashing but i'm still bad at D.I.-ing and i've been playing for years now without ever learning how to L-cancel. I want to get as good as i can and then learn to L- cancel and see how much that is gonna improve my game play. I think the time is near at hand for me to integrate L-canceling though, Wish me luck🤞. To the Melee community, Merry Christmas and i hope all the Melee players out there will have a happy new year filled with the undying love for this beautiful game. ✌
