Tourists should take more responsibility for their actions, especially when behaving careless near horses, and soldiers. Military and horses are not public property, not here just for the public to paw, irritate, or amuse themselves in a reckless way. 🇬🇧

The Police are there to guard the buildings and look out for any terrorist activity, government property. they will move in if there is any danger. The Guards are quite capable of looking after themselves.

Noted the lady respectfully stood back as the CoH talked to the Chitsman...something you don't see when the Gatesman conversates with the Boxmen. After much trying she also got her photo taken beside the horse and guard. Both horses are so relaxed. Well done to the Guard for letting his mount move forward to that stupid man.

If I understand correctly, the armed police officers are there to guard against terrorist attack, not corralling tourists. Also, the courtyard is the responsibility of the Household Cavalry. I'm not sure who has jurisdiction over the pavement outside.

I will watch the horses from my home on my laptop. I'd never come down there harassing them or their guards while they at work. Stupid tourists should leave them alone and stop pawing them. Who knows where they have had their hands? Horses have very sensitive noses, there's lots of smells they hate, tourists mainly. No give they judge away Asian's, they can smell their food on them, quite a few horses do it I've noticed in many videos. Don't think they like perfume either as woman stinking of it set horse off sneezing, her husband said he feels ska way as me about your smelly scent? Lol😂😂

There should be some sort of barrier to keep people back. You can still take pictures of the horse and guard. They just won't be in the picture!! People don't want photos they can not pose for or be in!
Think about it for a minute, putting a barrier around the Horse and Guard is Dangerous, Why? Because if the Horses get spooked (and they have done before) their natural instinct is to move forward, run, jump, kick, so putting barriers there is Dangerous to both the Horse and Guard. Tourists just need to use their brain and use common sense (which is lacking these days in everyone) and realise the Horse and Guard are working Military and not there for their amusement. People these days are Rude, Selfish and Inconsiderate. Tourists need to do research before visiting places like WhiteHall. All for a bloody Selfie, it's ridiculous.
