Don't give a crap about them being visible, but any war against them being constantly in the way and difficult to route is good. Trying to plug in a GPU with ending up with the spare power cable ends getting sucked into the fan at least one time is a pain.

Thermalright Assassin range of coolers exist. 30..40 EUR, all decent. Although this one by FSP has really unusual fins. So more performance tests would help.
As for FSP power supplies, they were kind of insider tip about ten years ago. Great quality and price. Last time I checked the price wasn't that great anymore as they became more known. As for supplies themselves, mine still working in family. The only thing I didn't like was fixed RPM fan there. Fixed noise all the time and blowing out cold air during low load.

The FSP cable management is great. However, the front grill with the large holes stands out…for me, not in a good way. Also, the width of the solid grill portions cause the RGB to look like just a few point lights, as if the fan lights are widely spaced and few in number…connoting low quality. The mesh is the option I would chose, though it will likely need more frequent cleaning that may wear on whatever material it’s made from.

This new FSP cooler seems DOA in a world where the PA120 and AK620 exist. Air coolers just can’t exist over $60 anymore, they just can’t. The next-gen NH-D15 might be an exception to this rule, but I’m not holding my breath.

fsp case, it looks nice sounds as solid as the explanation could convey BUT i haven't seen a high end mobo with only 1x8pin, and no high end gpu has only 2x8pin, they have space for 3x140 fans which i guess a 420aio would fit, but no extra extensions for newer mobo and gpu. that design is made for 9/10 gen intels and equivalent amd boards and a 2080 card, not 13th gen 4090 card setup.
now about the cooler, you said a cooler based on modern cpus. well i see what fsp considers modern, looking at the 3 to 4 old gen case, i wouldnt trust a 13900k with this cooler.

  • @vilesender7565

AIO raw cooling performance testing isn't as interesting as air coolers IMHO. Aside from a couple outliers, there just isn't a big difference in performance between them. Most 360s & 280s perform very well because of the greater surface area. You can buy a 360 or 280 with confidence because of this. AIO acoustics on the other hand, well that is interesting. Will it sound like a food processor or PC under load?
