Great video Holly! If you don't mind sharing, did you have a summer internship or something like that at any point during your Cambridge course?

I like the idea of having a degree you can create. This specific program is similar to the U.S. education system where students have to take G.E. (general education) courses, but they can choose whichever ones they want. Because of some G.E. courses I've taken, I switched my degree and love what I study now.

Hey, I’m currently in the stage of applying for a biology degree at university and I was wondering if you have any advice in terms of what kind of steps you took after your degree at Cambridge e.g post grad degree and what opportunities has studying that degree given you in terms of an occupation or volunteering ext.

hello! so cambridge takes students from all over the globe, so you can still apply to study at the university even if you are not in the UK!

I´m kind of jealous now...I´m studying biology at the WWU in Münster (Germany) and we do not get to choose a single course until year three. Also no supervisions and laboratory work due to covid...

Holly I think you should do a video on Theranos / Elizabeth Holmes, whose trial just began yesterday. They were a bio tech company that got a huge amount of hype and investor money and turned out they were a fraud that falsified data. They dealt with blood testing and were trying to develop a different method of testing blood, that could be done with only a finger prick, instead of a needle draw. They ended up not even building a successful machine. They would take patients’ blood using their machine (which yielded a small amount) then dilute it and test it on traditional machines 😦 Super unethical and resulted in providing inaccurate results to patients. Such as one man was given a false positive HIV! A pregnant woman was told she had suffered a miscarriage and she had not! I think this is a super interesting aspect of science that you should explore on your channel
*Might require a lot of research so perhaps after you finish your Masters
