I owned an ‘87 951 just like Austin’s, about 20 years ago, my first Porsche. Loved it. Modded it heavily then sold it on and have had many Porsches since. But I will always love the 951. Great vid.
In the 80s these were MODERN and a 911 was the old car that your Dad might have owned if he had money. So when I was 20 yrs old THESE WERE THE PORSCHE TO ASPIRE TO!! I went on the own x9 of them...
I love mine and it’s completely different than my 911, yet still familiar. It’s a difficult car to own because maintenance is expensive if you don’t do your own work. It’s a much better car than my 928, that car is the worst 😅
The Porsche 944 is one of the most durable and reliable Porsches ever built. And it’s beautiful too.
