I have watched all of your gnome tutorials. Your commentary is so easy to understand as you are carving and explaining what the cuts are for. It has been over 10 years since I last carved only 2 or 3 small projects . I am confident with your help I can pick the hobby back up and be more successful. I am waiting for my wood to be delivered. Thanks again for taking the time and teaching and not just carving.

As a recent retiree, in the UK, and been a DIY woodworker for many years, I had a retirement gift of a woodcarving set. I have had reasonable initial success with some basic figures but just wanted to say how inspiring your set of videos are. Your commentary is both direct and informative but also enhances the close knife work in the video. It has given me confidence to tackle what looks quite a complicated figure for someone who is also a non-drawer or artist. You have broken the steps down into incredibly easy steps. Many thanks and please post other examples of your work.
