The ref didn't see it, that simple. But if the teams have no chance for redemption after a no call, the coach will be mad. The NBA has to change that. You can't have snowflakes reffing the game that eject coaches, who are right.

refs don't blow anymore unless there's a body laid out on the floor and because of it they've let the game get out of control with these little common fouls. screens are a big thing they've just completely let slide. you can pick and move as much as you want now and if lebron doesn't flop there's no whistle.
True but it really depends on the players involved. Some players can’t breathe too hard on “the chosen ones” without getting a foul and if they even look at the refs, then they get ejected. Pure favoritism

Sticking your knee out like that in the NHL gets you a 5min game misconduct, an ejection, and minimum 1-2 game suspension plus more depending on the health of the injured player.

For months (and years) now, I see the pro's more and more committing moving screens. In my day of playing university bball, the screener had to be absolutely set... If the NBA doesn't crack down hard, there will be many more injuries

Screen in movement. But who knows they be taking 6 steps and switching the pivot foot many times per posession😂. They don’t call clear hard fouls and sometimes they call when the defender just puts his hands up to defend the shooter
I’d like to see Quinn’s reaction when a really good foul doesn’t get called. That BS moving screen call was weak as hell. That no call happens all the time. Trae’s acting is what caused Quinn’s reaction.

It's only a matter of time before we get another Malice in the Palace. The way these officials are making these calls/non-calls will eventually lead to a brawl. This year we have already seen a lot of fights.
Players get away with this screen way too much. People say the rules not allowing players to play defense is why all the scoring is too high but this is also a huge reason. The pick and roll has become unguardable because now aday you just set a moving screen but you do it on every single one. Your odds of scoring go up significantly when you are allowed to do that and the rules don't allow the defense to recover because if you touch them its a foul.
It’s getting crazy. Stuff like this. Jokic’s arms bleed every game and he gets maybe two whistles. Bam is assaulted every game. Luka gets mugged with few whistles and then someone sneezes near Bron, AD and Steph and they’re ejected.

I'm always disappointed that refs _(and probably the league office)_ have simply decided to allow moving screens and a bunch of other offensive fouls. It's really hurting the game. I hear all the time that pick and roll is "unguardable" and that's true if hip checking is allowed. It might be a little harder if the rules were actually enforced, though.
Also props to Quin for going hard to defend Trae. May not be the best strategic decision for this game, but that's got to earn you some goodwill with the players.

It's crazy how so much gets blamed on the players and the refs skate by with terrible calls/no calls all game but can throw out anyone who brings attention to them screwing up. They even go so far as to fine people for talking about it any still never actually fix the root of the problem. I hate the "they have a hard job" argument because millions of people have hard jobs and would get penalized for doing it poorly.

Pretty much every screen is a moving screen in the NBA. Officitianing is horrible in this sport, refs really have no accountability whatsoever. Perfect example of a guy still moving like crazy to make that screen and refs misses it. Wow!
Adam Silver is the worst NBA commissioner and he should also be held accountable for not doing anything to fix the game. And then players would be fined if they showed their frustration during their interview. Someday people will gradually stop watching the NBA for this same reason.
