My Father's Firearms: M1 Garand vs. Pumpkins!

  • In this session, I shoot my late father's MI Garand out at his range and attempt to destroy some pumpkins. This is the first time I have ever fired any M1 Garand, and it was fun!

    If you cut the top out of the pumpkin, as if you were gonna empty it for carving, then filled it with water and replaced the top, they explode much better

    That looks like a Collector Grade CMP Garand that's been butchered with a peep sight and a picatinny rail. Some people collect them and don't even shoot them.

      Nope. Found the paperwork and it is "Special" grade. I wouldn't call anything a USMC sniper does to a weapon to make it shoot better "butchering".

      @@treyveston7965 I'm no expert but I don't think they had picckitinny rails in WWII or Korea. The rear handguarrd space in not the most solid place to mount a scope.The M1 D'sI've seen mount on the left side of the receiver
