The town is spelled Chamisal and the church you show in that segment is actually in Trampas, not Chamisal. Though they are neighboring villages. Beautifully put together video btw!
I travel from Tulsa to Taos. You taking the panhandle route is rough! It can sometimes be hard to find fuel and food and even a hotel if you get tired. I prefer to take the interstate out west that runs through Amarillo. Although the wildfires back in March were intense and can sometimes block the interstate. It always takes me about 2 days to adjust to the altitude out there, but I love it
next time you go out there check out the Black Rock Hot Springs just west of Arroyo Hondo but be aware that there might be naked people in there! i own some land close to where you were camped at the end of the video and have seen the horny toads there also.
