Depends on the temperature…it’s been 100 degrees Fahrenheit every day where I live at moderate humidity and I water about twice a week for the youngling’s maybe three times if the soil is dry.

Pretty much the same thing except I wonder if ice could even melt at that rate to cover that vast of an area with standing water. I don’t know, it’s just my opinion. Thank you very much, and yes I do plan on making a euphorbia video and will do that soon to get you that information. But to answer your question a normally pot my euphorbias in a similar soil mix to cacti, I add slightly more organic matter and water more frequently, mostly in the winter.

Sadly he passed away, he was a rescue and was 7 when I got him and he already had mbd. I battled with it for about 6 years and it progressed too far, he passed away at 13.

He passed away from MbD which he had always had since I got him. He was a rescue I had for 7 years and he was about 6 when I got him, so he was 13.

Um… I’m not sure, I believe they only have alkaloids in them, but that won’t do much. I think you are referring to another species of cacti known as peyote which contains mescaline.

@TannerJackKyler I'm pretty sure that I read somewhere that Saguaro is also Active with different alkaloids. 🤔 I know that Mescaline is found in Peyote and San Pedro's variants. I wonder if it's like Psilocybin mushrooms vs Amanita Muscaria... Oh well worth the ask. Beautiful specimen watch out for poachers

That works, or use can make your own using 50% sand, 40% peat or potting soil, and 10% perlite . I use about 1/2” of pea gravel on the bottom to help drainage.

That’s is from decomposing microorganisms and vegetation, similarly to how swamps have a foul smell from methane. It is harder to smell it in running shallow water. Beavers have been damming rivers and streams for thousands of years, colonist have intervened in a completely natural and important process.

Post10 on here has a few videos with Methane bubbles coming out of beaver dam water when he's unclogging culverts.

This is a natural process and they do not emit near as much gas as the average American does in a year.
