  • What makes Dazed and Confused such a special film? Why does it feel much more authentic and genuine than other films about the same subject. In this video we look back on this definitive film and explore what makes it so unique.
Living In The Past is a channel about revisiting pop culture from the past. Hosted by Jeremy Scott and Devin Kleffer (along with Carl the Intern), these two (three) friends can’t help but revisit the movies and TV shows that they loved from their younger years. Come along and get a little nostalgic with us as we look back, enjoy, and ask the important question: is it still OK to like this stuff?

What do you think? Does your high school experience resemble or relate to what is in Dazed and Confused? Is it the definitive high school film or is there a better one out there?

Even as someone who is not American, it still makes me feel nostalgic for my time growing up, guess there's more similarities than I thought between me and some kids from 70s Texas!

Brother, that movie was our life back in 1994 we lived that movie.the soundtrack was in my friends car stereo blasting away as we were getting blasted away. It's funny, at the video store they had a single copy, but it stayed in the new releases for 5yrs. (Family video). I am working on a story of our generation and the summer of Dazed and Confused, it's a set up just like dazed a party in the woods, every thing we did, but dazed is always in the background .I'm 47 bro I'm with you.

From the UK and more a kid from the 80s, but me and my friends could relate to these characters. Like Stand by Me and American Graffiti, it’s a version of American life that I always wished I could have experienced ☺️

Yeah, there is some universal things about Dazed that I think makes it so special (Stand By Me and Graffiti has it too).

Great movie, but I relate more to the Breakfast Club than Dazed.

That is so interesting! Breakfast Club is a huge favorite of mine. If you don't mind, what specifically do you relate to in that movie?
