Don’t mess with the fuses, all you need is a 10mm wrench or ratchet with 10mm socket. Disconnect the negative first and ensure it’s off, then the positive. When re-installing do it in reverse. First the positive then the negative. Hope this helps

Ok, once it beeps and says error, stop and restart from the beginning. If it still does not work you have the wrong code. Once you error too many times it will lock you out and you will have to disconnect the battery for a minute. Once reconnected you can try again

jaime loza ok two different ways you can try to fix that. I would start by resetting your phone. Completely turn it off and back on. If this does not work you will have to do a full static discharge. You will have to disconnect the both battery terminals and leave disconnected for 5-10 minutes then reconnect and enter the code again. This should fix it. Let me know if you need any further help. Thanks for watching and the nice words.
Hello sorry for the late reply the radio works fine with my Honda Pilot without disconnecting the battery, I guess it just takes a little time to reprogram itself, that’s my guess anyway, Thank you for responding to my question. 😀
I have the code, but the display shows "co" instead of "code". After I enter the first 2 digits of the code the unit beeps and returns an error. I'm assuming the unit already has several digits stored in the code field that are causing this problem. Since there it is no backspace would the solution be to somehow drain the unit of any power thereby clearing the code field? Would that be by detaching the battery connectors or simply switching it off for a period?
Easy fix, once it stops and beeps then start with the code fresh. If you have tried too many times and it just says error you will have to disconnect the battery for a few minutes, then reconnect and that will reset it.

There was no code error anywhere. I tried entering the 5 digit code I have on the touch screen buttons anyway. I'm not sure how to fix this now. Thank you
sandeep mann ok so sounds like you have a few things goin on. The radio unit will not cause the alarm to go off. Do you have an aftermarket alarm? When does the alarm start sounding? Are you comfortable with disconnecting your battery completely?

Could you explain how to fix the enter error after someone puts in the wrong code too many times? I don’t want to disconnect and reconnect my car battery if there’s another way to do it
The only other way is to let the car sit on for over an hour. Otherwise disconnecting the battery is the only way, also a lot faster.
10 outta 10 Ty bro!
You’re welcome
Hi I bought a second hand 2007 Ridgeline without a manual and I got locked out of my car so when I unlocked it from the outside the alarm went off and wouldn't stop so we had to unplug the battery and now I been driving around with and error code for since 4th if July 2019. Help pleaaase
Bigmama Cooper ok if it shows error you have tried too many times. What you need to do is disconnect the battery for a few minutes then reconnect and it will say enter code then follow these instructions. If you have any issues let me know.
Bigmama Cooper also if you have to use the key to unlock the car if you turn it to the unlock position in the door two times quickly it will stop the alarm

My battery died and then my radio needed a code. I got frustrated at started pushing all kinds of buttons. Now when I follow your instructions my radio doesn’t give me a #. It just says code error e. Any tips? Thanks!
Brooke Woffinden yep that means it’s been tried too many times. Disconnect the battery for a few minutes then reconnect and it will reset so you can enter code

Try deleting the phone out and re-pair it
@@HONDACARGUY when I put in the radio on PHONE key, on the screen keeps the phone icon loading and keeps like that for the entire time I keep using the car, I removed two times the radio, disconnected the battery and the radio ask me the secure code, I put the code, the radio works fine everything works fine, but, the phone option not work at all, keep the same icon, phone logo with loading scroll... any suggest?
